here's my bracket update. Im 27-5. And I have all my elite 8 left. Picks I got wrong were Alabama, LSU, Pitt, and obviously Syracuse and Kansas.

I definitely should have gone with Pacific as I see them knocking off Washington this next round. They have a really nice athletic and complete team from watching the Pitt game. Also... if L. Roberts plays a dame like he did against Stanford... the Bulldogs have a really good chance in upsetting Duke. Other than that.... Duke probably has the easiest road to the Final Four now.

Well, I just got home and what a great night of college basketball. I can honestly say that I cannot remember one night's worth of games that was as exciting as last nights'. As far as Vermont winning, I'm not too surprised and even had them going as far as the Elite 8 in one of my ESPN brackets. I did have Syracuse going to the Sweet 16 in my Ants bracket which hurts, but I don't think too many people had Vermont beating them so its not that bad. Where are all of Orange lovers who said that Syracuse was the best team in the nation?
With regards to the Kansas game though, all I can say is WOW!!! I was at a party when one of my friends called me and told me they had lost. I was literally speechless.
I figure that most of the people(if any) who had Bucknell beating them are Bucknell students, so pretty much everyone is fucked. I didn't think I would lose an Elite 8 team this early. I was really looking forward to a UNC-Kansas matchup in the Elite 8, assuming UNC makes it that far, but I guess that isn't going to happen. To all of the Kansas fans out there, no fans deserve to be put through what you guys are constantly put through seemingly each year. Kansas is truly an elite program, but something happens to them when March rolls around. I really feel bad for both the Kansas players and fans, and I'm not saying that to be an asshole. I truly mean that.

Well, Cincy doesn't have great guard play so I see lots of turnovers. I think our big men will see some playing time and hopefully contribute. I see UK in a win by 6.

I have delayed writing this for a period of time in order to gain my composure and understand the situation to the fullest extent.

My fellow KU fans, words can not describe the state I am currently in, and have been in since last night. I'm sure all of you would agree, and understand the feeling I am talking about. Who would of thought the impossible could have happened? I woke up this morning and patiently waited to realize it was all a dream. I walked downstairs and saw my parents in their solemn, miserable state as well. I akwardly realized the nightmare had truly occurred. My left hand is incredibly sore from punching a fence last night, and my mind is incredibly drained.

Its sad and stupid, but I have lost a lot of interst in this tournament. I will still watch and keep up with it, but the tournament has lost a spark to me.

I'm not sure why I wrote this. just to vent possibly, but only my fellow KU fans can realize the state we are in.
