I have been taking lessons from this site, and it is really great. Not sure if someone already posted about it, but it is first class stuff.

Looks like a cool site, but I don't feel like paying $50 for the lessons.
It would be different if I actually sat down with an instructor, but just sitting at home and looking at my computer screen, it doesn't seem like it's worth it.
Plus, there's no big encouragement cuz you know if you don't practice you won't get yelled at by a teacher like a real class.

Actually, yes, it is 50 bucks, but part of that goes to Save the Music, and part to world class instructors. And it is very interactive. You can even send the teacher recordings of yourself and they critique and give you more personal advice. I am getting a lot out it. Plus, I do not have access to a good bass teacher right now, so it's perfect for me. And you get a lesson a day for four weeks... so 20 lessons for 50 bucks... not too bad really.

This sounds really cool. I've been playing guitar for about a year and a half now, and i am starting to hit a plateau, is this site mainly good for beginners, or intermediates also?

Cool site. But I still think it is easier just learning on your own. Just watch concerts on dvd and try to pick up notes then get the basic notes down and you'll be fine

Well, it is doing very well. I have learned a great deal from it, and the teacher is great in his responses to me.
And yes, there are many classes for intermediate and advanced players.
