....is fun to play, and you guys gotta give it a try. As most of you already know the cool rift going back into the verse ends right on 7 where BEF starts.
My other favorite made-up segues:
Nature -> Billies -> Grey Street
Loving Wings -> (just about anything)
Blue Water -> Spoon
Grey -> JTR

how do you do blue water -> Spoon. It's probably pretty simple, I can play both songs, just can't think off the top of my head how to segue them.

i was just messing around on my guitar and i did the most unthinkable of segues of partial songs (no singing, just guitar):
spoon >
TSTJL >
#41 >
WWBOM >
say goodbye >
end of PNP >
trippin billies
it was really messed up, im me at nonewdirections if you want to hear my truly awful guitar skills.

I was just stoned at the time and played around with Blue Water and the Spoon intro and it came out a success. I'll have to try to make a tab or something, but you can kinda figure it yourself after a while.

p.s -simple it is, indeed.

*puts many thumbs up* All good ones. I just noticed Blue Water ----> Spoon this morning doodling around. For the person who asked, Blue Water is just Em ---> C. The first chord of the verse riff (and the intro, if you play that solo) is Em.
I love messing with the Nature intro and then fading between Billies and Grey Street. I've been playing LIOG (STJL) ---> LIOG reprise lately, along with a massive #41 medley in the jam between about 20 songs.

I agree with many thumbs up, and fooling around with Nature. I got 1 more segue for ya, two already mentioned tunes.
Nature --> Spoon.
The only catch is you have to play the "simplified" Nature, but it goes directly into Spoon.

You know what would be cool. Ants, then when u think its over, carter plays his snare hit intro again and then dave busts into the LIOG opening guitar. i may have to cut up some songs and hear this.

i'm really liking the fills and quality performance. this sounds great except for the chorus part just before the acoustic solo in ants. the way that is being played doesn't match up for how i expect to hear it in my head. i figured out that it sounds like you're not hitting that G chord in the middle of the chorus after the D. someone else tell me i'm not crazy. if you want me to elaborate or record what i mean, im me at nonewdirections. i am all for people doing it not quite like dave, but it doesn't sound right to me. the transition after that is great. your LIOG jam is really nice. i was impressed at the sound quality and skill -- this makes me realize i have a long way to go. i'm missing the LIOG finale though, but that's a personal preference deal than a critique.
