it was not the 914, first off the 914 doesnt have a pickguard, and that looked nothing like the taylor, plus it said martin at the top. so pilot was correct, it was the dm3md

Damn I'm an idiot....Didn't pay attention to the "SNL guitar" part. Maybe I'm still mistaken, but doesnt he play a 914 at D+T shows?

nope, he played a Martin (not sure what model) this past D&T tour
he plays the Taylor 914ce with the band! like this past summer tour

Guys, i'll say it, the fact is he was probably playing the Dm3md, his signature Martin model, but don't quote me on that.

No clearly that's Timmy's signature model not Dave's. Dave was playing his signature Dm3md, made by Martin.

Oh man...my Guitar Center has one of those Cowboy Martin Geetars...:haha

I'm left handed but I still ask them to take it down...I had to play it! :lol:
