haha yeah, I live in Baltimore, so I am a veteran visitor of Fed. Hill. Holy crap, I was there on Sunday, too. We went to No Way Jose's for a margarita, to the Thirsty Dog for like 6 beers each (9 bucks for 6 beers!) and then we went somewhere down past Mother's...err, there were tons of people, and my friend Laura and I each got hit on by 3 sketchy guys there. It was hilarious. A group of friends and I try to go down there a few times a month---I love it.

Yes! it was Ropewalk. I had never been there before, and it was pretty cool. They have stella on tap, so woo to that. Yeah, I'm pretty sure you weren't one of the random dudes. One guy who was TRASHED came in with his buddies, stopped at me, said "Hey, girlie, LOW FIVE!" and put his hand down. So I'm like "Um..yeah.." and i slapped his hand. Then he held it, kissed it, and pulled me in for this huge bear hug. A HUSBAND IS AT HOME WATCHING A FOOTBALL GAME WHEN HIS WIFE INTERRUPTS, "HONEY, COULD YOU FIX THE LIGHT IN THE HALLWAY?IT'S BEEN FLICKERING FOR WEEKS NOW."
HE LOOKED AT HER AND SAYS ANGRILY, "FIX THE LIGHTS NOW? DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE GE WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD? I DON'T THINK SO."

"FINE," THEN THE WIFE ASKS, "WELL THEN, COULD YOU FIX THE FRIDGE DOOR? IT WON'T CLOSE RIGHT."

TO WHICH HE REPLIED, "FIX THE FRIDGE DOOR?" "DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE WESTINGHOUSE WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD? I DON'T THINK SO."

"FINE," SHE SAYS, "THEN YOU COULD AT LEAST FIX THE STEPS TO THE FRONT DOOR? THEY ARE ABOUT TO BREAK."

"I'M NOT A DARN CARPENTER AND I DON'T WANT TO FIX STEPS." HE SAYS, "DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE ACE HARDWARE WRITTEN ON MY FOREHEAD? I DON'T THINK SO. I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU. I'M GOING TO THE BAR!!!!"

SO HE GOES TO THE BAR AND DRINKS FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS................................... HE STARTS TO FEEL GUILTY ABOUT HOW HE TREATED HIS WIFE, AND DECIDES TO GO HOME. AS HE WALKS INTO THE HOUSE HE NOTICES THAT THE STEPS ARE ALREADY FIXED. AS HE ENTERS THE HOUSE, HE SEES THE HALL LIGHT IS WORKING. AS HE GOES TO GET A BEER, HE NOTICES THE FRIDGE DOOR IS FIXED.

"HONEY," HE ASKS, "HOW'D ALL THIS GET FIXED?"

SHE SAID, "WELL, WHEN YOU LEFT I SAT OUTSIDE AND CRIED. JUST THEN A NICE YOUNG MAN ASKED ME, "WHAT WAS WRONG?" I TOLD HIM. HE OFFERED TO DO ALL THE REPAIRS, AND ALL I HAD TO DO WAS EITHER GO TO BED WITH HIM OR BAKE A CAKE."

HE SAID, "SO WHAT KIND OF CAKE DID YOU BAKE?"

I was buying beer at the local corner-store. I heard another customer say "Holy Shit!"...and the rain came down...Crazy. About 30 seconds later this 90 year old lady walks in..soaked. She grabbed onto my arm...said she could'nt see because of the water on her face. The owner told her to sit down....I held her hand and walked her to the chair. She looked at me...said "God Bless You". I grabbed my 12 pack and headed home. ;)

Hell yeah to #34, but my biggest smile was for something else...
My whole fam (dad, Mom, and bro) all went to my dad's work to help me get Red Rocks tickets (so we each had a comp with fail safe internet since our wireless can be weird sometimes). And my bro who is the exact opposite of me and hates DMB was the only one that was able to pull up tickets and he did the fastest purchase I have ever seen. He knew how much it meant to me and it made me smile so big that he was willing to do it... yay bro!

And then you have to throw out the whole roll if anything profane is in them, right? I went to a wedding last year where at the reception they had a disposable camera on each table for guests to take pics and leave so the bride and groom would have a bunch of pictures of all their friends and family from their wedding day... :rolleyes Friend of mine took one to the bathroom with him and took a picture of his downstairs. That looks pretty. It's more wavy than curly though. Works well if you put it in two braids (except that makes you look 3) and spray it with water throughout the day and then take it out and don't comb it.
