I am going on a little mini vacation Sunday- Tuesday, with my ENTIRE family. :)

Ok I had suuuch a kick out of watching my daughter yesterday "playing". She was in the "exer-saucer" thingy and there is a lot to look at and mess with. She was looking at the adorable baby *coughinthemirrorcough* And messing with the different shaped rings on the little arch. [You flip them from left to right.] She saw me do it about 5 or 6 times and then kept spinning them around but not flipping them. But she was so determined (and content) and after about 10 minutes of this and that she got it!!

oh man, it is the one thing i look forward to every summer (besides Dave of course) but i always love the jet ski performances. those are always sweet. i saw the bikes too, and last year, dont know if they had it this year, they had guys on snowboards and skis jumping off this huge ramp and doing flips and sweet shit. dont know if they did it this year, but that was cool. i also the army flyover thing on saturday and hootie and the blowfish that night, i wanted to go see cake on friday but couldn't. the regatta is always a blast to go to.

as for today, i had summer school in the morning which is always fun coz the teacher does what ever we say, and she lets do shit, so that's fun, but other than that, nothing else so far.

:D tigers game tonight. i was at the tigers game tonight and you wouldnt think i could smile because it was raining all night (enough to be miserable but not enough to stop the game). Mike Maroth (tigers pitcher...most people know him from losing 21 game last year) has always been my favorite player (yes, even when he lost 21 games last year. great guy). i go to tons of tigers games but never seem to go when mike is pitching. so i was so pumped that i FINALLY got to see my hero pitch tonight. tigers were playing the yankees tonight.

tigers win 8-0. Mike Maroth pitches a complete game shutout, 1 HIT!!!!!! the only hit was a gary sheffield double. 7 strikeouts (also a career high). i got to see my hero pitch the best game of his career by far. and then after the game even though it was pouring, they did not cancel the post-game fireworks, which were amazing.

oh wow what a perfect game and perfect night. you have no idea how happy i am. :D
