hey everyone...maybe this is dumb, but what made you smile today? no matter how crappy my day is i try to find at least one thing that was good, or that made me smile. what was it for you today?

just little things, but i've learned that when problems stack up, those are what count and what can make your day or break it. i always find something, no matter how crappy things seem. hope everyone is smiling!

great news is that compared to last week my liver function is "excellent"
this is huge 'cuz w/all the meds and stuff i've been on, my liver hasn't been functioning well, and last time i was sick it was actually affected by the lymphoma. its no where near normal but its better than it was, and in my mind any upward trend is a great one! i've had problems with it for awhile. also, my blood counts are up there as well...platelets are low but nothing is in the "dangerous" level anymore. yay! merry christmas to me! :D great news, eh?

Ok as I was driving to work today I was stopped at a stop sign. Across the street was a Condo and outside, close to the street, sitting on a low wall was an older gentleman with his (presumably) grandson (of mayke 1-2 years old) sitting on his lap. recieved a card from a far-away friend today (via email), when i woke up and looked outside my window there were 3 deer standing in the yard, and for once they didn't run away when they saw my dog and i; they watched us for a few seconds then went back to eating. beautiful creatures. and so graceful when they finally decided to prance away.
knowing that those who celebrate christmas are/will be having a wonderful day filled w/friends and family and love.
learning that i probably get to fly a plane on new years day

seems like a lot of sad/depressing/frustrating stuff around here lately. so i thought maybe this thread should come back for a bit. :D
today i watched my dog playing w/a stuffed kong; threw it all over and had a grand time; funny to see.
i have all of my stuff finally moved into my new place (now for the unpacking!!!!)
no bad headaches for 2 days now...yay!!!!!! (this is HUGE for me) and also no new seizures (had one a few days back, scary and annoying) the past few days.
just over a week 'til d&f concert, and getting to meet jenna and kelley and freddy and matt and stace (?). yay!
