I just had a pickup installed on my acoustic, so now I can use pedals, and all of that jazz

My question is, what pedal should I get?

If I could buy any of them I would want the "line6 dl4 sampler" (the big green one that Howie Day uses), but it's like 250.00 and I just can't afford it right now.

So what do ya'll reccomend? What can I get the most uses from and still keep a good sound? Please keep it affordable, AND INCLUDE LINK!

get something that loops. that would be a better investment, i think, than a pedal right off.

i used to play electric for a few year really intensly so i have wah wahs and distorion and metal petals, and i gotta tell you its so much fun seeing how the acoustic sounds with them. I have to ssay you should get a wah wah petal its a lotta fun and it sounds funky. I think i saw a version of 41 with someone playing with his wah wah it was nifty.

Cry Baby (Wah) pedal, Super Overdrive pedal (made by Boss)...they're all pretty cool.

I bought a Digitech RP 200 last year that's fun to mess around with.

Are delay pedals used for looping or are there specific looping pedals? I've always kind of wondered that.

79.99 @ musician's friend....most fun you'll have for that kind of money.

save your money and get the line 6 dl-4 delay looping machine. i got one about 6 months ago and it is the greatest thing i've ever bought.

go with the boss rc20 loopstation if you want a straight up looper. 5 minutes of sample time and you can overdub tracks

Yeah the DL6 is great. It's how Tim gets his loops. I wish I were a better player to use it to the full potential. Keep looking around for used ones. Occasionally you can find a deal.
