i know this is an old thread, but i just learned this and i tihnk it may actually be played a few frets lower, like take that tab and move it down two frets. so instead of the constant 9-11, make it a 7-9

There is a recording that sounds like that (I think it's the one floating around Kazaa) but it is due to a crappy recording where the tape speed was slowed down. At the proper speed it is played at the 9-11 position, whereas the slowed down tape is at the 7-9 position.

actually on the 6/11/96 recording its played at 7-9

it works either way, its just that one is moved up a whole step
