Not a fan of '98 versions either(except when Greg Howard does a stunning Chapman stick intro). Part of my problem with Watchtower is the "solo" that Stefan does at the beginning. At the HDC, it began with him scratching the strings for at least 30 seconds. The bass intro is way too drawn out.

Umm your not talking out of your ass. I'm sure the first two nights were fun and blah blah blah. But no suprises thats for sure. It looks like every other night on this tour. I think they forgot how to play all of those great songs. They have played it safe this tour and have stuck with the classics. There is nothing wrong with the classics but i would like a little bach with my motzart.

Anyways....I think they will open night 3 with You Never Know.

Just got back from the show...kick ass energy all the way through. Never have seen an DDTW intro like the one tonight. It was around 80ish when Jem and JAson Mraz were opening, but it steadily decreased to around 60 I am guessing by the end of the night, and the was a fairly steady breeze that added to the chill, but it was still very tolerable, and it made it ok to watch the stars and bright moon come out as it got colder.

Last night was incredible I mean when you get stone, bowa, seek up, STJL, LIOG, typical, and an amazing DDTW with intro no-one really should complain (not that I'm saying you are). It kinda pisses me off that people expect rediculous standards now from the band a) because it's the gorge and b) because it's a 3 night stand. Tonight will be incredible (I know it). Going into the 3rd night last year we were in the same situation and had no idea what to expect, and look what we got. Whether there are debuts or not DMB will not dissapoint tonight.

Honestly, I don't see how anybody could think night 1 and 2 weren't exciting. Those two sets were very solid. Unfortunately, the Gorge shows are always over-hyped so they have a new standard. These shows have been solid for sure (Seek Up and #41 in back to back nights, wonder when the last time that happened was).

I really have a feeling that SUAD or Blue Water will be played tonight, probably not both, but at least one. Do you guys remember all the rumors about the band reworking Blue Water, and I know they soundchecked SUAD, so I'm not sure that it's so ridiculous that they would pull something like that for the Gorge.

yea i could maybe see them busting out something special (last stop or say goodbye) and making it a 3 song encore but other than that nothing amazing and i also dont see why so many people have repeats of regular songs that have already been in the last 2 nights......that just confuses me :ugh:

Yes, and for the rest of the show, the WH page is one song ahead. That is why there is such a delay between the posting of the first and second song.
