If anyone doesn't already have a place to stay, I recommend getting one NOW. That weekend is gonna be nuts- and don't count on being able to drive anywhere on Saturday, b/c game days in gainesville are insane!

How great for me that I already had a room booked at the Hilton by SW Rec for the football game. I think my whole crew from NYC is crashing with me and my wife - but oh well.

hey guys, i wouldnt count your eggs just yet .... gainesville has 11,300 seats - and im sure tons are given to move.org and then given to corporations who have given money to the kerry tour - which leaves maybe 8,000 to 9,000 to ticketmaster and warehouse .... theres 40,000 college students at UF, maybe 5% like dave? thats another 2,000 kids, plus all the college students in tampa, orlando, jacksonville - then all you nuts who are in GA and south florida and even the northeast who are going to travel around :-) ..... boy this is going to be a tough tough ticket

I would say that waaaaaaaaaay more than 5% of UF is into dave, we're like the epitome of the frat boy/abercrombie school. Plus there's a big Ben Harper crowd too. Granted a lot of people aren't happy that its for a democratic cause and I think you'll see a lot of Bush t-shirts are there, but 2,000 students is definitely a gross underestimate.

I'm just hoping that the warehouse pulls through because I don't know what I would do if I didn't get tickets to this show! :(

Just got back from Florida late last night. I saw both nights at WPB and they were amazing. I've never heard a crowd that good before, everyone was screaming and singing the songs and you could tell the band loved it. I finally got to hear seek up! My 9 show streak of hearing WTWE was also broken on night 2...thank god! Hearing SMTS-->ASTB-->PNP-->Rapunzel live was awesome. The band had tons of energy throughout both shows and I just want to say THANK YOU DMB for a great weekend.

We went to Orlando after WPB and hit every theme park there, I had so much fun...Sea World rocks.

I think most of us at UF who really care about getting to the show will find someway to do it, I might wind up with 6 tickets between warehouse, the moveon presale, and I'll try to get through public sale (ticketmaster?) but there is NO way that dmb, ben and jurassic5 are coming to my school and i'm not seeing them.

I've got a video of "Hello Again" from the tampa show. The quality isn't the best, and it actually cuts out twice because someone kept telling me to put the camera away. I think you can hear the guy next to me yell Say Goodbye or Halloween during Carters Drum solo... it's still pretty good. I have a few clips from the rest of the show, but no other song in it's entirety.
