Is #40 always considered a tease since it's so short, or does that mean Dave only strummed a few chords of it?
when i was at the 2003 show in saratoga, It was just a couple chords, I would think this would be the same but im not sure. Someone might have had a 40 sign in the crowd or something to get him going on this.

i just checked and it wasn't listed for the set on the road page, so lyrics may have been used, like a verse (ala DM&F MSG)

It is one sweet world under this beautiful blue moon. We had a lot of fun tonight for our first of two shows here in West Palm. The South Florida rains hit us hard all day, but it didn't hinder the band one bit. They put on a solid set. Everyone's psyched to get back here and do it again tomorrow night. Hasta Maņana, y'all.

Cause DMB Almanac puts them in Dark Red!. :lol Different placement makes for different vibes and feels of a show, and IMO, just as important as an opener. And I think the last song of the night's importance goes without saying. It's been 5 years since a full band WH encore, and I think it's a positive change.

40 did not have lyrics, My girlfriend was there and she just called me and said she didnt even know they teased it. it is her favorite song also and she has been to 16 shows this summer, so she would definatly know if they played it.

Second That -- Someone needs to clue us in on this Little Thing Tease. And Warehouse is a completely different tune with the Louie, Louie Outro -- especially as a full band. Incredible Encore and opener as well. West Palm better be grateful and show they actually know how to vote come November time.

Back from the show. 40 was just a couple of chords. Also, it sounded like Dave started to go into Sugar Will right before Everyday and then he all of a sudden cut the song, guess they were short on time. One more thing, the Louie Louie outro came before the part where they pick up the pace at the end of warehouse unlike at MSG where it came immediately before he sings "thats our blood down there."

Just got back as well, I couldnt even hear any #40 tease, the Warehouse was AMAZING, and the crowd was going nuts for the Louie Louie. After they ended the regular set with Everyday, us (the ENTIRE crowd) kept goin with the Hanni Hanni's for about 5 more solid minutes, it was sweeeeeeeet.

It was played during Daniel Lanois' set.

How awesome was that show guys?

I heard Dave strumming chords, but I don't think it was #40. May have been little thing, but I'm not sure. You couldn't really hear it that well.

ASTB intro? Possibly the last thing I expected.

Great to see the Louie-Louie seque come back. I had totally forgotten that they used to do that.

I can't WAIT until tomorrow night...

I loved how the crowd just kept singing, i was really into that everyday/#36 so it was a lot of fun. I had no idea what was going on with the ASTB opener, and Seek Up was a very pleasant surprise. Hello Again and Bartender also surprised me with how much I liked them, easily two of top 5 songs of the night. Seemed like the boys liked surprises tonight, definately a quality show, and I can't wait for tomorrow.

Also liked the absence of Sugar Will, as it's the only new song I don't like. I know we'll hear it tomm, so it'll be nice to hear once.

I didn't hear any tease at all. The crowd was pretty loud, and Dave did strum some chords to a girl holding a sign in the first few rows, so maybe that was it.

Yeah, that was awesome. The crowd sang throughout most of the encore break. I really like the everyday/36 combo.

And Bartender....that was the longest Bartender I've heard. Butch's jam, followed by the penny whistle jam.

I love this band...

It makes you wonder who actually read your article? Maybe dave :)

I liked the article anyways. Although, it didn't actually have the effect you wanted.

Doesn't carters drum fills at least make the song bearable? Maybe not.....

Well you do have tomorrow night :)

Just got back from the show. 6th row center tonight! Highlights tonight were definately Seek Up. I finally got it! It was nice and jammed out. Bartender was so awesome to hear again finally! Hello Again was once again sick as hell. The best part though was between the time after Everyday when the whole crowd started singing Honey Honey after the band had left the stage before the encore all the way until thye came out again. Incredible! I had never seen anything like this before. The crowds up front then rushed the whole stage. Never ever seen that before either!

The highlight of the night was Warehouse. It was one crazy beast. Butch took this long solo in the middle of the song and then that went into the Louie, Louie interpolation. The salsa ending was crazy going on forever! Definately the highlight of the show! See everyone tomorrow night!

Add Pig to that list and you've got another great show, I don't know if tonight could be better but hopefully it's also damn good.

I didn't hear the #40 tease at all, but I did think I heard Sugar Will right before OSW. My seats had some really bad sound the whole show, so I couldn't really tell what was happening there.

Well last nights show was freaking awesome, i will give a quick review here.
ASTB-what a way to start a show got it off with a bang.
Too Much- Very powerful like it much better here than at the end, also with the lil john yeahs make it awesome.
Satellite-my first time in 7 shows so i loved it but it was standard.
WWYS-Standard again but the crowd was diggin it.
Seek up!-man i love this song another first for me, wailing at the end was amazing, Great version.
FTT- I dig this song live, gotta little funky jam feel to it...didn't know dave played the acoustic on this one. Good song.
Joy Ride- What an amazing song, i personally like the woos, think the crowd digs this more than any of the other new ones, goin to be a big song for them i think. Also the first verse was pretty structured lyrics wise.
Crazy-Easy- Another awesome song, crowd got really lost at this point, 1/3 of my section sat down or went to get a drink, very dissapointing.
WTWE- the only DMB song i have seen at every show, but everytime I enjoy it more and more. Crowd came back alive durin this one. Goin to be weird to not hear it tonight.
BARTENDER- Started off by dave dedicating it to the military men and women overseas i think...Amazing version, Crowd went crazy, jam at the end by butch and leroi was perfect.
R&R- Another energetic song-crowd also very into this one.
GGT-first time hearing this one, very very very groovy tune, most of the people seemed to get into it and were dancin around, very nice.
Ants-Full snare intro and all the works, pretty awesome for a midset ants, Boyd went crazy as usual and the crowd was NUTS.
Cry Freedom-Beautiful, dave solo at first then the band kicks in everyone had the lighters out, very quiet, everyone was so focused on dave...wow.
Hello Again- Could be the best song of the night, i sware this song is so rocking, Dave did a intro to this version, very quiet but cool, couldnt make out many of the words, dont know if its a new song tease or an addition to the song.
Everyday/36...Crowd was just amazing, everyone echoing dave and singing with boyd, Boyd had a awesome solo also, I love this song as a set closer...after band left the crowd continued to sing for about 4 or 5 minutes, it was soooo amazing, dont know if this has happend before.
40 tease-I thought i heard the first couple of notes, but nothing to drastic.
One sweet world-great song like it hear as a mellow start to the encore.
Warehouse- Powerful, very powerful, crowd was crazy, Louie louie outro was crazy, didnt even know it existed at the time, Leroi went nuts, Great way to end night one.
CANT WAIT FOR TONIGHT...hears my dream set.

It's weird that a lot of DMB fans don't like Sugar Will much. I think it's a really good tune. I dunno if you guys don't like the lyrics or what? The music/jam is really good and interesting. I like it a lot actually. (Doesn't mean I want to hear it 4 out of 5 shows I go to in one tour though.)

15 grams of fat in one white castle....60 in a big mac...so i'd say 4 white castles = 1 big mac.so we're talking like 7 or 8 big macs in terms of fat....and there's more bunnage on 4 white castles than one big mac...that's the most filling part...the bunnage.

They are really cheap, and quite popular for drunk or high people. I recommend you see the movie Harold and Kumar go to White Castle when it comes out. It is hilarious.
