Damn. Too low on page 1.

I'm thinking the band is only starting to simmer right now and by the time Alpine rolls around they'll be hitting their peak. Although the N1 setlist at SPAC was pretty good (minus Help Myself, R&R, and WTWE), my guess is there is much more to come (i.e. Seek Up, Minarets, Proudest Monkey, Halloween, Last Stop, Watchtower, etc.) and Alpine should reap the benefits of that.

usually the gates open about 2pm (almost positive) We usually always get there about 1 or so and sit around the entrance and start tailgating.

I have not tried to hear the SC @ alpine, maybe this year though

Omigosh, I can't even imagine what it's like to be in the 11th row at Alpine! :eek: The only time I've ever been close for any show was at Counting Crows when Aimee and I got 5th row because Adam Duritz is her father's boss's son's best friend and we were on the guest list, but it was just Northrop Auditorium @ The U.

As much as I'd looooovvveee to ditch the girls and chill down there with you, I can't even tell you how much shit I would take from them, especially Aimee. She would have a hissy fit of terroristic proportions. Eddie too can tell you what it's like to have to deal with her being pissy about something. It's not fun, I promise. So unless you've got room for all 4 of us down there I'll have to respectfully, depressingly decline. Next year Eddie has custody of me for Alpine so it'll be a whole new ballgame. (And maybe WH won't stick me w/ lawn seats.)

Now last year I stayed at Big Foot Beach and would have loved to stay there again but its full along with Bong and about every other campground in the area. Yay I found a place. After trying for days I decided to call the Hyatt in Milwaukee. I am a Hyatt employee in Tampa and I got the employee rate for 46 dollars a night. This is so much cheaper than anything I could find plus it is a Hyatt. I know it is about a 40 minute drive but that was about the closest that I could find anyway. Thanks for the help.

It was literally the last hotel room in the whole area. We stayed there despite the tampons and condoms in the parking lot, the bloody handprint on the ceiling and the stains on the carpet that looked like someone made a porno in our room. Had a good view of the lake, though.

I didn't take my shoes off and I slept in my sleeping bag on top of the comforter. When I had to use the bathroom, I just went to the happy place in my head.

attention t-shirt slingers and other vendors on the lots....alpine is cracking down on unauthorized vending in the lots....a few of my friends got handed 1000 dollar fines at phish...yes...just for t-shirts....they have a courthouse set up right in the lot and watchtowers no pun intended....be careful......just a heads up

Hey Ya'll! I havent been on the board here for a while. I saw a while ago that there was a map of camp sites for Big Foot Beach State Park somewhere in this vast Alpine Valley 2004. Can anyone help me out by posting the updated maps of where everyone is staying at BFB State Park? We are staying in Campsite 96. Group of Iowans.

Thank you, thank you. We had such a blast at Hershey on Saturday. Brian and Melissa had a great time as well.

There are 35,000 phones in less than 2 square miles fighting for a fixed amount of lines. We always use FRS or GMRS radios. FRS are cheap, have a 2-3 mile range and there are 15 channels with 38 privacy codes. You do not need an FCC license to operate them. There are several people in this thread already that will be using them in the lots this year, and they can come in handy inside the show as well. For this year's shows we'll be picking a frequency and code along with a backup in case that set is in use.

We aren't kidding when we say that vending is not permitted in the parking lots. The Sheriff's department has been making a concerted effort this year against vending in the lots and yes, the fine is $1000.

On an unrelated note, we had Buffett this past weekend and all parking lots were clear within 2 hours of the end of the show with about 2/3 of all lots clear within 1 hour of the end of the show.

For those with US Cellular, there is a new repeater station for US Cellular customers located very, very close to the theatre. It won't help if 1000 USC customers call at once, but your signal will be very strong.

Oy, I don't know...what do you recommend? Or you can just surprise me. :D

Tonight Eddie is coming over and we are officially typing "my list." I've set up a nice little table in Word (I'm the queen of that) and he's going to read the discs to me so I can type them in and then I'll be able to sort it by date and then put them all into my nice, new Case Logic in order. :)
