Okay, first post on this forum. Was at Alpine last night (first time to see a concert there). It was phenomenal!! I can't believe I've only seen Dave at the Target Center in Mpls - total horseshit compared to the outdoor venue. Just wanted to say that as long as Dave keeps coming to Alpine, I will be there every year! BTW, we didn't book a hotel, thought we'd just start driving back and get a hotel in Madison or further - no hotels ANYWHERE in WI. Ended up sleeping in the car for two hours OUTSIDE of a hotel. Hence why I am home at 10 am after a five hour drive. Nice... Everyday was so cool, when did that start?

I really don't know what the deuce they're going to play tonight, other than I'm sure of the fact that they'll play LLD and at least 3 of the new ones. But other than that... I really can't predict after last night's set... only things I saw coming were the new songs, IBYU, TS, WTWE, and SMTS (which I thought would seague into ASTB, but was pleasantly surprised at Superfreak).

I asked several people in my section and they all agreed it was Dave Matthews voice singing. Has anyone else noticed anything else similar to this or agree with me? I had never been before, and I felt like the lawn was ridiculously packed, and I had friends say that phish and other sold out shows (dmb last year etc) were never as crowded and as packed as this year?
