Does the Premeire Parking lot have genuine, tailgating DMB fans in it too? I'm tempted to get that because of how far I have to drive to get back to the hotel, but if there's not a cool atmosphere in the Premiere Parking lot, I'd rather be with the real fans.

Very nice - think it's too late for me to get a Premiere Parking Pass? I figure you got it through Ticketmaster, but I'm probably getting my tickets through StubHub.com, or maybe Instant Tickets.

Probably not - money is tight, and SOMEDAY I will go to a two-night stand at Alpine. But I already went to the Tweeter Center last Friday.

I meant amount of posts was insane, not the content of them, my bad. :-)
Thanks for the help, bdb23. Question though - how much earlier do the lots open as opposed to the gates? If i have lawn I wanna get a primo spot, but I'd like to tailgate too.
All times are for gates/lots are 1 hour earlier than previous years. I assume the acts will be 1 hour earlier as well.
Lots open 1pm
gates open 4pm
opening act 6pm?
DMB 7pm?

After seeing the boy's nail this song in Chicago this takes on more meaning than before.

I'm getting price quotes on the shirts now. I'm just not sure how many I'll need. I can't determine if I'm going to sell them or just give 'em away. I'll probably just give 'em away, I feel generous.
The format is thus so far:
<FRONT>
It's A JIMI THING...You Wouldn't Understand.
<BACK>
a small dmb logo of my own design between the shoulder blades.(I'll post attach later)
Perhaps Alpine '04 or AVMT '04 or Summer Tour '04 below that.
Input?

I'd put the "You Wouldn't Understand" a bit smaller and below the "IT'S A JIMI THING" only because the length of that whole sentence would mean you'd have to do it in a small font.
And definitely mention Alpine specifically (whether by name or initials) and the year. Screw the rest of the tour! ;)

Yeah, It'll be two lines on the front. That's for sure. I'm trying to find the Jeep font style as we speak.

Hi:
You can actually buy it on the day of show (if spaces are left) directly at the theatre to avoid any service charges. Just follow the signs.

Yup, Brian emailed it to me, thanks. I could listen to it over and over for hours and never get tired of it!
I also have the four other new songs. Unfortunately since I'm about to leave work for the day I will be leaving the songs too - no burning ability here and no Internet connection at home where the burner is :(.
Some day I'll win the lotto and get all hooked up with the dankest computer system ever and then I can quit my job and spend all day doing B&Ps for people and give back to the community as much as it's given me. Ah, someday....

They will be good seats. 3rd row on Leroi's side. I'm in that same row for night 1.
I was also in that row for night two in 1999 and they were good seats. If you're at the very end of the row you could be obstructed view though depending on how the speaker banks are set up.

Thanks. I actually got this one once they fixed the torrent last week. The sound is pretty good. I hear they're just cookie-cutting the same setlist. Too bad. Maybe in a month they'll mix it up a bit. But VH was never one to do that.

Good news - Eddie finally remembered his user info and actually logged onto Ants last night! (Bad news is that I need to teach him how to navigate the boards.)
It's wierd, though...he said his username is EDW3376 and he swore that he was logged on, but I can't find him on the Members List. I hope he's not tripping and logged onto the Bridge or Nancies, not realizing it wasn't Ants! He's a natural blonde, too, afterall! Or maybe I'm just not searching for him correctly.

The 6/18 one is under 10mb so that was fine. Like you said, the 6/20 is nearly 18mb. No can do from here. :(

If those shirts will be available, I would absolutely love to get one!

I find nothing wrong with asking in other threads, like this one, because you're basically asking a few people, and you know the main people who are going to see your question.
The problem is making a new thread asking about it. So as long as you don't do that you'll be fine.

Yeah. I had to move a bunch of stuff off my hard-drive this morning b/c I couldn't convert to .wav without the "low disc space" popping up. Time to start burning this stuff. I've got about 30 shows on my hard drive that I need to get to disc. Now, the new tour is going to kick my ass.

Hello all. Just wondering where a good place to camp for the Alpine shows? Close by would be great. Also curious what everyone is doing after the show, do people get together and play music, party, whatever? I play guitar and my girlfriend and I are traveling alone and would like to hang out and meet some new people to jam with or just party. Driving from North Dakota so any help or info would be great. Peace. See you all soon.

Welcome to Ants! Don't know about camping - I'm a hotel kinda girl - but look back in the thread and I'm sure you'll find some useful info. You might have trouble finding a place because it's so close to the show but you never know. After the show those of us in Premier Parking will be outta there quickly. Everyone one else will be hanging in the lots, for sure. Is this your first Alpine experience? If so you're in for a real treat!

I'm going to take the next stage of the shirts off the thread. I'll use PM from now on, unless it's a broad subject.
I've gotten about 12 quotes and I went to inspect work samples of the best 3 quotes. I'm having 24 shirts printed, since there's a big price break at that level. Cost per shirt will be $10. (I'll be making a gigantic profit of $0.63 per shirt.) If you need XXL or higher, there will be additional charges. Please PM me with the quantity and sizes you want.
If you desire to send payment early, I will ship via UPS to your door at no additional charge. I have a paypal account, I also accept cash, check, money order, will barter for Jeep parts, etc. I will be placing the order on July 9, ready on July 23, on your doorstep no later than July 30.

Ok, Alpiners I have a little dilemma. Back in April I bought two pavilion tickets for night one from a guy on another board. He's a mod in one of the forums over there, so I trusted that everything was legit. I sent him the funds via paypal and everything was good. He said he would be sending the tickets out as soon as he got them from WH, which would have been last week. I didn't expect him to turn around and put them in the mail the next day or anything, but he hasn't responded to the emails/PMs I have sent him even though he's been online and posting. I'm just beginning to get a little worried that something has gone awry. What should my next step be?

I bought WH tickets also from someone on the boards. He told me he would be receiving them the first week of June. I sent emails to him just to stay in touch and updated on everything....didnt hear back for about 1 1/2 weeks. Then I get an email saying he was in Cancun for his Honeymoon and then he just started his new job. He got back to me saying he would send them out as soon as he can. Well, point is things get in the way and I'm sure he's sending them but is busy for the time being. hopefully their in the mail:thumbsup

I think it's still kicking. It's only been up for about 15 hours. Only problem with it is there is a tiny click at the end of every track before it goes into the next track. Nothing big but it is noticeable.

I think it's still kicking. It's only been up for about 15 hours. Only problem with it is there is a tiny click at the end of every track before it goes into the next track. Nothing big but it is noticeable.
How does it compare to Ice 6/20 and 6/21?
Does it click during any of the songs?

It only has a click like a half-second before the transition between tracks. I only listened to a couple of tracks on my computer when Crumbo mentioned it to me so I can't give it a good comparison to Ice 6/20 and 6/21. But I do agree that 6/21 is just amazing so far.

Where are you sitting for the Phish shows?
On the lawn. It was a kind of last minute thing. Kevin (the boyfriend) is a total Phishead and when they announced they were breaking up he realized this was his last chance to see them. Otherwise I don't know that we would have gone this year what with all the $ we're (well, mostly me) spending on DMB.

Yeah, I'm gonna go. I live about ten minutes from the grounds so it's pretty easy...i didn't catch them at tweeter, missed em due to all the traffic, so i'm definately going on saturday. What time is everyone else going to show up? I'm gonna get there pretty early.

I think they're 12$ and you buy em when you get there, O.A.R is on a side stage not the big stage which is the 7pm show.

eventually we can make a list of what everyone is bringing
maybe we can put up some recipes for the die hard grilling tailgaters

Hmm...good idea! I don't have much to offer but I'll email you the one pic I have from the lot last year (pre-Walworth County Sheriff incident) and the little "checklist" I created for me and the girls.

Awesome, what site #? I forget what site I'm in, i'll have to look it up. Last year we were not at the campground very much at all but it's nice and secluded once you get back into the campground area. Even over the 4th of july last year the entire town was so packed but the campground was nice and cozy. Hopefully we get a campsite with a fire pit this year and we can actually get a fire going. Last year all we got was smoke. tons and tons of smoke.
Glad to see all the action here lately. I'll have to try to post more. So is there going to be any kind of organized meet up in the lot? Maybe a Yellow Lot meet up? All the premiers will be jealous. ;)

I thinking about getting to the stage probably around 7:00. Main Stages have the tendency to get very crowded....VERY crowded. I saw Bela Fleck two years ago and showed up about an hour before the show and there was no way I could even think about getting on the bleachers or picnic tables.
All Summerfest shows not in the Marcus Ampitheater are free with the price of admission (I belive $12 this year?) You can buy tickets at the gates.
