FULL REVIEW OF CAMDEN TONIGHT...

1.Granny - definitley didnt expect this song at all...song really got going at the end of it...dave scatting like crazy it also seemed longer then usual...

2. One Sweet World - I miss the intro to it...but it was a sweet version nontheless

3. Pig - (highlight 1)this song really got everyone going out on the lawn...and definitley sent a message to us that we were in for a show...

4. Satelite - I was worried to hear satelite since my last expierience was with the gorges version...but dave hit every high note..and it sounded amazing


5.Hello Again (highlight 2) the intro was awesome to hello again...and carter absoultley KILLED IT during his drum solo near the end...everyone went nuts when dave started howling at the end too...best new song IMO..

6.Lie In Our Graves (highlight 3) 2 words...Boyd Tinsley...as soon as dave started playing the firtst few chords...i went nuts...boyd was amazing during his solo...
7.when the world ends - one song i can do without...very standard..not many people sounded excited to hear it

8.the song that jane likes - Awesome awesome awesome version...i would love to see a longer jam near the end..but defnitley a great song and a great way to pick up the pace from wtwe...

9.sugar will - This song was a long one...leroi had a beautiful solo at the end...and it was a very long jam

10. Joy Ride (hightlight 4) - another amazing new live song...and the woos are getting louder...but i dealt with it...just an awesome version one of the best...

11.Warehouse (highlight of the night) - the lawn when insane when he started playing this...and the latin jam at the end of it with the lights i really didnt think it could of gotten any better...im talking Central Park material...

16.too much (HIGHLIGHT 6) - never woulda expected it but i loved too much tonight...the jam at the end of it was absoultely incredible...dave was howling and scatting at the end...and it was much longer then usual...if they keep playing that way they resurrected too much into a highlight on a setlist..
17. Crazy - Easy - lyrics are started to come together for this one...no extended outro...i was looking for that too...oh well

18. Watchtower - (highlight 7) just high energy the solos went boyd then butch then roi then butch and roi went back and forth like they were goin to war with each other and then roi had the sax screaming...hell of a way to end of the set...

encore - was a very "love" filled encore....

19. Crash - hasnt been in an encore since 99...good to hear had to call my girl up for this one i sooo wish she was there with me to hear it...

my review - best show of the tour for me so far. the stretch between WTWE and crazy easy wasnt much to talk about. except for the first SMTS > ASTB > RR segue. watchtower - energy was incredible. decent encore. tomorrow night should be just as good. pig was the biggest highlight for me. really wanted to hear it

But then there was PIG, totally took my situation into another light. I don't know, the guys gotta give me a sign tomorrow.

And I sorry to say, that was the WEAKEST encore I have ever heard. I better hear some BOWA and Two Step tomorrow.

Hello Again, and Joyride were my fav. new songs, and carter, despite the hurt wrist, rocked behind the set. the first six songs were great- but i like one sweet world, and would've liked to see the intro. my friend thinks that stefan teased last stop during his bass solo- i'm not so sure. anyway, i was totally not expecting to see anything like lie in our graves- it was great! and i wasnt expecting sattelite either. overall, best of the two shows ive been to in my dmb experience, but im gonna do it all over again tonight! cant wait! :)

(with the exception of the girl in the group next to me...when she danced it was like an earthquake and when she sang she only knew the chorus and screamed YEAH in that highpitched highschool girl scream during the rest of the song. And the only words she knew during Watchtower was "watchtower" I wanted to take the bitch out. OH and we had all the underage drinkers that passed out near us. Here are some of my comments from the show:

First, the ferry from Philly... apparently last year they had two boats, but they sold the other boat so now they just have one. It look me 1 1/2 hours to get back to the Comfort Inn by the waterfront in Philly after the show. That's crazy.

I had a feeling that Granny would open because I saw a mic stand set out for Roi. And I was happy to hear it open! It is one of my favorites. Dave sang "next pretty girl," which I hadn't heard since 2000 (although he's done it that way several times this tour).

I hadn't heard Pig since 12.22.02, so that was nice.

Dave did the intro to Hello Again (he didn't do it Saturday in Hartford). Did anyone else notice how scary his eyes were during the song, especially at the beginning? He almost looked angrier than when he sings Halloween!

The last time I heard LIOG was on 1/12/04 when Dave & Tim cut it short at Key Arena, so it was nice to hear it in full again.

Dave seemed really interested in Stefan and Roi tonight. He was facing their way a lot, which was good for me because I was on that side of the stage.

I heard the "woos" during Joy Ride, but it seemed to be contained mainly to the beginning of the song. Also at one point near the end of the main set, I heard people chanting for Two Step. :BANG

During ASTB, when Stefan was bouncing, Dave did the hand motion that he's done this tour like guys driving their cars in rap videos. (I was trying not to be too stereotypical there. :lol )

The SMTS -> ASTB -> R&R segue was really smooth. It was great. It definitely surprised everyone!

Dave sang the words "good, good time" at the beginning of Good Good Time, as if to solidify that that is the title.

The ending of Too Much was more yelling than scatting.

Dave didn't really say much other than "thank you" during the show.

The theme for Crazy-Easy tonight was again of a homeless man. "Could you spare the time, could you spare a dime." Roi did not have a solo though.

The band left the stage for the encore at about 10:38, and so I was hoping that we would still get a two song encore. They came back out at 10:45. I was glad to hear Crash into Me, because I knew they wouldn't end with that! :lol But also I do like the song. And Dave sang the "Dixie chicken" part, which was missing from at least one show this tour. (I can't remember now which one it was.)

Everyday was a nice happy closer for an overall happy-song show. We sang along with the "honey/Hani, honey/Hani" part at the beginning and at the end of the song. At one point it seemed like there were three parts going on, with the audience doing the usual, and then Boyd I think was singing that same part but off from us, and then Dave doing the Everyday part. Also near the end of Everyday, Dave ran over to tell Roi something as Roi was walking to the side of the stage.

Did anyone see Carter hand out sticks? I stayed until the lights came up but I didn't see him come out. Strange.

Anyway it was a good show and I can't wait for the show tonight!

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW.

What an amazing show last night... started off great by meeting Sara (you are such a sweet heart yourself... so funny when we're standing inside and I hear my name being yelled out:lol ) and then GregB too!! You have to let us know about your hopefully hook-up tonight. Awesome... hope it happens again. SOOOO great to meet some fellow ants, but I didn't get to meet the guy (frprefect)that was in my row... DAMNIT! maybe another time... (I was pretty loaded and forgot to look around... :()

The show was abolutely fabulous!!! When they came on I got goosebumps, it was great, Hello Again is definitely my favorite new song... it's not only a good tune but I love the way the lights were flashing and how hard it sounds
Carter was sooooo adorable, everytime I saw him he was smiling, even with his hurt hand!! poor guy -- what a fuckin' sport though, seriously... AMAZING... And Stefan did loook really pissed, but I think it was b/c he was so into playing -- I loved that solo he did too... I loved all of their little solos!!!! It was great... and Warehouse to SMTS to R&R was just sooo unpredictable and awesome to hear.. WOW.. I love how great that band is... OHHH And I got to hear Crash for the first time live, I was quite happy about that... that was my first ever fave song of the bands... now of course I have like a bunch more ahead on the list, but it's still such a beautiful tune. I loved how there was a sort of echo of "hani hani" at the end, ohhh it was magnificent. OHHHH and Watchtower was dope too... I love the fire in Daves eyes when he sings, it's so powerful.
I loved every minute of this show and am so f'n jealous of those of you either there or on your way there for tonight's show because my God, I know it's going to be another amazing performance. I think I'm staying home tonight just so I can watch the set-list. Still :bounce cause DMB is just so fucking amazing I can't get over it... I MUST SEE ANOTHER SHOW BEFORE TOURS END!!!!
