First of all Poor Greg!

Second I wasn't drunk. I had a two adult beverages and a shot. Then stopped drinking more than an hour prior to my departure and had 3 glasses of water. I wasn't drunk. in what has effectively become my online journal, i will now post the story of my night, and a lesson.

so the only reason i stayed here another night essentially to fuck her, lets be honest. she knows i want to, i have every reason to expect it. remember, she offered it to me a while ago, but i deffered as i was waiting for jess...anyways, for like 2.5 months the flirting between us has been crazy. but its always the same story, flirt flirt flirt, very physically at times, then shes goes to bed. and shes not prude by any means. shes not a slut, but she doesn't deny herself sex at all, has it often from what i can tell. well tonight was essentially like the rest of the semester. the same shit. also, the last few days had been a very large increase in flirting because we were studying together for our history final. everything was great, i thought this would all go down tonight. now i don't want a relationship, she doesn't either, she has her own long distance ex-boyfriend that shes about to visit. i think its awesome for her, no problem at all, but i also know thats not why shes holding back because she fucks other guys too. o and remember saturday night i chased her drunk ass around as she was absolutely violent and beligerently drunk. ive done everything right, just been waiting for her. we spent the whole day together, everything is awesome, then i walk her to her door and she doesn't invite me up. same fucking shit. i was pissed. i didn't say shit to her, was nice, told her have a nice break, the usual, and hugged and left. i mean, she is one of my best friends here. i wasn't pissed around her, im just used to it by now. i just want to know why. what is it? is it she doesn't want to with such a close friend. i mean what could it be? another friend said to me tonight it could be here period, but unless she had a two and a half month period, than no. i just don't get it. i wanted to punch a hole in the wall. i just find im learning to many lessons. im gonna start being a little more permiscuous. i like to hook up with friends. i like to know the people i am with. i want a relationship with someone, although not with her. i want a lot of things, and i want sexual anything as well. the whole jess thing made me be very cautious with my virginity. but i essentially don't care about that anymore. its not that special, ive heard it a thousand times. it would have been great to have it with jess, or someone i knew like kristin tonight, but you can't have everything. i told this other girl tonight who i was talking to about it, im gonna write a book on how to have the perfect relationship. then at the end put a disclaimer saying im that kid who always gets fucked over; all of the above is impossible. what i have come to learn is their is a balance between sex, a relationship, and friendship. they are all intertwined and sometimes one has to come without the others, and sometimes you must have the others to get one. i have basically spent my first semester trying to find the perfect girl to lose my virginity too. its been my quest because of jess, and since her. but it just isn't that important to me, it never was until jess came around, and honestly, i really have no reason not to just fuck some girl in a one-night-stand. i prob won't do that. but i also don't feel like investing so much time into nothing anymore. as for tonight, i can take rejection, just fuckin reject me. don't leave me confused.

Well that was inspiring. How was everyone's Christmas? Santa came to my house cause I am a good girl! HA! :lol It's funny to look at our tree cause my sister is materialistic and asks for a million things and I on the other hand just don't really care. I told my mom to donate money in my name to a charity insted of asking me 100 times what I want. SO I ended up with a gift card to get my car washed 8 times and to get it detailed once (can you tell my dad picked that out?) Gift cards to Trader Joe's (best place EVER! Greg I know they have some in DC and one in Gateway Shopping Center...so you must go!) Starbucks and Sunoco (my mom didn't know what else to do) earrings to match my ring, Christmas decorations (my mom said "hopefully next year you will be living in your own place so I though I would start you out with some decorations) some other stuff. My sister got me a smoothie maker (ahem daquri and margarita maker) So it was all good.

Don't worry NYE always sucks. There is so much pressure for this to be such a big night that it's usually a let down.

So our plans were me to make dinner for the whole group of friends. Then we were going to drive to Melissa's house and get cabs to the bar where we know the band that is playing. Then we were going to hit up a party in Manayunk. About an hour and a half ago the whole thing was off. (AND I was PISSED cause I made a few pounds of chicken parm and I was going to be stuck with it and I don't even eat meat.) Then a half hour later it was back on but I am to bring all this chicken and 2 1/2 pounds of baked ziti to Melissa's. Then we are driving to the bar and the party we aren't even going to now. I am sure it will change a few dozen times before frickin' midnight. Ugggggg.

On a happier note (at least for me) since I haven't been feeling well and I had the week off from work I didn't shave (well I shaved my legs but...) so this morning I did and now she is SO soft. I am very happy. Too bad there is hardly any chance for :monkey .

i miss 2004. it was the best year of my life. it was the worst year of my life. i got into college. i graduated high school. i went to college. i finally came together with jess, and had the most romantic times together. she was one of the best friends i eve had. i had her ripped away from me in a way i did not think possible, and i miss her - in the very least as a friend. a saga of two and a half years came to bitter end -it changed my life for the best while it existed and forever, but suddenly left me alone when it ended. i did good in my classes my first semseter at college, but i also dealt with bad roomate problems. i met a wonderful group of friends, and i have had an excellent start to the next part of my life. my dog, my best friend maggie, died at almost 14 years old, and i will always miss her. philly sports continue to rock, and dmb continues to make my summers heaven!

ill remember the best of 2004, it was the most important year of my early life, and ill remember it with a smile.

you guys have been great to me, helping me with all the shit ive had to deal with, especially in the last few months. i just wanna say, thank you!

How is everyone? From the looks of things, pretty decent. Except for poor Brendan and his bitch ass boss. I am doing well. NYE was pretty fuckin' sweet. I was trashed (of course) at my friend's partay... lots of wine, champagne, shots, and beer. Ohhhh it's a little blurry, but all good. Then the boy I am seeing (the one I went on a date with hehe) picked my drunk ass up at 4ish. Needless to say, we were up till 8:angel and it was all just a great way to ring in the new year and Say Goodbye to 2004.
I agree with you GregB, there were many ups and downs to this past year. Rather than go into the bad (aka break-up) it was an extrodinary year for DMB, that's for damn sure. I'm so glad to have met the people I did and to now talk to the people I do. I started my AntsFest in Camden and I am still in shock at how this amazing band can bring people together as they do... HERE'S TO ANOTHER INSANELY GREAT YEAR for DMB, good times, and good people. :o XOXOXO ALL!

ello everyone! back from vermont, a great time...

skiing was awesome! ----- for like 5 hours, before i took quite a fall on the moguls. brand new skis, first day out, then bam! shoulder dislocated. ive already had surgery on it when i was in 10th grade, and its never been the same since the first time i did it 3.5 years ago. so it seems greg will be heading back to the operating table. bleh! im not really worried that ill be okay, its just a whole ordeal that i don't need to go through again, yet i knew i would have to, and probably will again.

o well, it was an amazzzzzzzingly fun week nonetheless, had a great time with all my buddies from school, and it snowed soooo much! and my best friend from home came and got to meet all of my friends, so it was a fun week despite my little accident.

i got obliterated like every night and wanted to posted desperately. also, im sick of leaving during big important dmb times. was away for the start of the summer tour, was away this week with all the new album site hoopla, just spent an hour reading that damn thread.
