Seriously... Call the venue and see what time the box office opens for the tix. You wanna be there as soon as they open, there are a lot of people on this thread planning the same as you. The first day would be easier, because everyone knows that the last night of whatever set is always the best, and will probably sell out wayyy too quick, so if you REALLY wanna go, go for the first night. And the Camden venue rocks, there is never an empty seat in the house by the end of the night. I really hope you get your tix, hope to see you there!:)

security on the lawn? psaw, nothing to worry about. This is my third year at Camden, never had a problem with that. Just don't act like an ass. As far as getting the stuff in, be discreet. The patdown is lax, so you don't have to stick it up your ass or anything, but they DO check your cigarettes.

The sound on the lawn is decent to pretty good, depending on where you are. there are speakers coming off the back of the overhear of the pavillion, so the sound goes directly out. Since the lawn is sloped, if you are under the speakers, the sound quality is not as good, but your sight line is obviously better. Either way it is a great venue.

For pre-tailgating GET THERE EARLY!!! There are a couple of parking lots, and when those fill up, they park you in the bus terminal, which is about 10 blocks away or so. Oh yeah, and right by the county jail.

Ok here's the deal, Philadelphia is a beautiful city, very historic and lovely, Camden is right across the river Putting a venue in camden was not only more accesseble, but alot cheaper. Im not going to lie Camden is the worst area you can be in NJ theres alot of ganga, and drugs, but once your out of camden its fine, South Jersey is good and once you go over the river to philly its good. So If you want to sightsee go to Philadelphia. Im being horribly guys...

The lots are safe... parking in the streets (been there!) is kinda hazardous! If you want a good space, get there around 12:00, that way you can get into the main parking lot, there are several. Cool. I just don't think my friend would want to get there around noon and tailgate all afternoon. I'd kinda be up for it, but since I'm planning on driving back to Indiana the next day I don't want to get too trashed and an afternoon of drinking = hangover for me. Midafternoon would probably work pretty well for me. I'll have to run this by my friend when it gets closer to the show date.
