no, if you look in the crash cd sleeve, LYD is copyrighted to the band (Colden Grey) and stefan. if it were somone else's song, they would have to acknowledge that in the cd sleeve.

I feel bad bc I asked him back in the middle of March, we had just met and he said yes so he could spend more time with me. I was explaining the point of going to more than one night of a stop, which I'm doing this summer. You can't hear half of their songs if you go to one night, you gotta go to both (or all three in some cases). But that is expensive and I'm hoping my friends decide to be nice and pay me back for their tickets.

I might end up selling Matthew's ticket or taking somebody else!!! Panic attacks... Grrrr. It's bad enough that he's not going to have a good time and he's not as into the band as I am but my first show is going to be ruined because I'll be worried about him the whole time!!! :(

I was thinking a smoke before going in would help calm him. Don't think he'd be into that though. :lol

I take Xanax for my panic attacks... I'm ok at concerts, but i haven't been to a show since i started bad ones around January. Just because there weren't any shows to go to. I hope i'm ok with the big crowd, now i'm worried. but xanax helps me out. he should def. go to the doctor and get medicine. he'll feel good.

I am in the pavillion - section 7 - was th best pavillion seats i could get via TM. To be honest i'll be so into it the view won't matter.

I am definatly up for partying before and after the show though. Planning on camping at bennet acres.

This will go down as the maddest thing i have ever done.

whether you come north on rt. 18 from washington, pa, east on rt. 22 from weirton, wv or west on 22 from pittsburgh, you can't miss it. maybe if you just type in burgettstown, pa from where you are coming, you can get directions to that. it is impossible to miss. hope that helps

long story short, my g/f of 7 1/2 years and 19 shows together, 25 total for me, have decided it is in our best interest to take 2 months off to evaluate our situation. so, i now have an extra ticket for the 6/27 show, sec 7 row z. not the best, but center stage. instead of selling it, i would like to treat someone to a show, preferably someone who has never been, only i can't think of a good/fair way to do it. so i am looking for suggestions on how to give this away, you know, some sort of contest maybe, i don't know. help me out...

sounds like you veered left onto I-279 just south of Cranberry. yeah, you gotta stay to the right there to stay on 79 otherwise you be going through pittsburgh. another 10 or so miles past that, you will run into rt. 22/30 (follow sign to airport.) go a few miles to where 22 splits from 30 and goes towards weirton. there is a sign before the split for post-gazette. approx. 15 miles on 22 west to the post. can't miss it, especially if you are coming a little later cause you will be sitting in traffic long before the exit.

the bridgeville exit off of I-79 is rt.50. south hills village, let me think. you would be near rt 19 then right?? mclaughlin run rd or gilkeson/painters run rd both take you to bridgeville and rt. 50. once on 50, it's about 15 miles to rt 18. then north to star lake

i'm not exactly sure...i talked to them and they said they were 1-2 miles down from the ampitheatre on the same road the ampitheater is on. does that sound right to anyone who's been there before?

also, i'm coming from cleveland. mapquest has me taking 80E to OH 11, then hooking up to US 30. from there, jump on PA 168 which turns into 18. does that sound close?

:lol penndot is the biggest joke of a company ever. nobody works, they all just sit and fuck around. they will have 10 guys at a site, and maybe all but 3 of them will be sitting on their asses doing nothing.

as for the concert i can't wait. unfortunately i'm broke and couldn't aford tickets to both nights, so went for the second one (as i did last year). last year was my first dave concert, and that was friggin sweet as hell. i can't wait for the 27th for the concert and some tailgating before as well.

i'm not exactly sure...i talked to them and they said they were 1-2 miles down from the ampitheatre on the same road the ampitheater is on. does that sound right to anyone who's been there before?

also, i'm coming from cleveland. mapquest has me taking 80E to OH 11, then hooking up to US 30. from there, jump on PA 168 which turns into 18. does that sound close?

sounds like you veered left onto I-279 just south of Cranberry. yeah, you gotta stay to the right there to stay on 79 otherwise you be going through pittsburgh. another 10 or so miles past that, you will run into rt. 22/30 (follow sign to airport.) go a few miles to where 22 splits from 30 and goes towards weirton. there is a sign before the split for post-gazette. approx. 15 miles on 22 west to the post. can't miss it, especially if you are coming a little later cause you will be sitting in traffic long before the exit.

I just reread this and realized I must've had a few more drinks than I thought when I wrote this. ;) anywhoo, coming down 79, you need to take the Rt. 60N exit towards Airport/Moon Run, merge onto Stuebenville Pike which becomes Rt. 22. follow that straight out to the pavilion. sorry about that. :twak

If you are exiting Starlake then you would make a left. A mile and a half down the road should be signs that say campground 500 ft. Just look out on your left for a road, it is really dusty and old so just keep your eyes glued. Just watch out because if you get too drunk you might end up on the highway again. Do not get all the way to the right.

I just joined in on this thread. It seems their is a lot of concern and confusion about Bennett Acres, so I thought I'd help out. I will be at Starlake with a group of my friends from Baltimore. I am flying in from Atlanta and we are driving up to Pitt Saturday afternoon. We'll arrive at Bennett Acres, set up shop and head to the parking lot for tailgating. I camped last year at Bennett Acres for the first time. I must say it was one of the best experiences of my life. We had so much fun, met such great people, and saw 2 sick shows.

For the 411 on Bennett Acres, I can give you some info that I have collected and that I have pulled from other message boards.

1. No, they do not take reservations for those who are tent camping. If you have an RV or pop-up camper, you can make reservations. Last year, I too was concerned as I have an 5 hr. drive. After being there, I realized that the reservations are unneccessary. The place has 96 acres of camping area which is enough to facilitate every person at the venue. If you want a really cool spot, arrive early but non-the-less, you'll find a spot. Most people tend to arrive the day of the first show and setup camp just hours before the show. I've been told by the campground staff that they have NEVER come even close to filling up.

2. The price per person per night is $10. However, this year, I heard they have raised the rate to $15 per person on the nights of the shows.

3. The showers are decent and have plenty of hot water. It sure ain't the Ritz. They tend to lock up the showers late at night due to problems in the past with vandals. Bring flip-flops as the shower floor is a breeding ground for athelete's foot.

4. There are port-a-potties all over the place. I recommend you don't pitch camp too close to one. They are cleaner than the ones you'll use at the parking lot but I still don't want to sleep next to one.

5. Campfires are allowed and if you don't want to bring your own firewood or can't find the room to bring it, you can purchase some onsite. Its not at all expensive.

6. Their is a food store about 3-5 miles away. Also, their is a liquor store!!

7. Not sure about an exact address, but its very easy to find. When you get off the exit, the venue is to the right. The campground is to the left. You'll see a sign.

Hey, I have an extra ticket to the 6/27 show since my friend can no longer use it and I want to find someone who will actually appreciate the music with me. I have sec 4 row H seats 1 and 2. I am coming down from northern PA (sharon/hermitage) and if you're along the way and need a ride i'll pick you up. I am from the U of Pitt and anyone around that area I could also probably pick up. I also have a premiere parking pass so I can get out quick after the show. I won't charge for the ticket since they were a birthday gift but I would really rather bringing someone who will really enjoy the music instead of someone who is just going with me cause its a free concert. its kinda hard to judge from the first 2 shows b/c they were in different cities so I dont think the band pays much attention to repeats. We should find out after tonight and tommorow's show if they arent repeating at the same venue like last summer

i'm thinking the earliest i could get there would be 9 because it's a 2 and a half hour drive from cleveland and i work until 5:30. since you're going to be there earlier, you can pick the spot. i'm unfamiliar with bennett acres so i couldn't tell you a good spot. could you call us or maybe tell the people at the front desk or something? i'm not sure about this one.

it worked in 2002 - night 2 - that's the only other show i've ever been to - and the crowd went nuts, of course, i was RUSHING to the bathroom - so i missed most of it (see my signature)

either way - i personally am looking forward to hearing something different this time - they've played two step as an encore for the past 2 years at starlake - i think in 2002 they played it both nights!!!!

Ok. Seeing as how we are only 3 1/2 days away from this, we should get this as organized as possible. This is for the lot since we won't be camping this year. :( Who all wants to get together in the lot? We plan on getting there by 3 and wait until the lot opens. There are plenty of places to pull off the road and wait. Last year, we knew the lots had opened when the police came by and told us. We will be bringing beverages(soda, beer, water), hot dogs, buns(of course), and probably some chips. Anyone else?? Let's get this thing rolling cause it's just about time!! :bounce

i actually love the lawn at star lake, I've seen a bunch of shows there (DMB and others) and I pretty much prefer lawn. The view into the amphitheatre from the lawn is nice, plus i'm going with so many people (and i'm sure i'll run into others) so its easier to be around everyone there vs. inside

I agree. Aside from the "Here we go Steelers" chant that always seems to come up, it's one of my favorite lawns. Being with a bunch of people it is definitely the place to be. Who knows, maybe we will bump into you guys and smoke the peace pipe with you. :D
