Ok. Seeing as how we are only 3 1/2 days away from this, we should get this as organized as possible. This is for the lot since we won't be camping this year. :( Who all wants to get together in the lot? We plan on getting there by 3 and wait until the lot opens. There are plenty of places to pull off the road and wait. Last year, we knew the lots had opened when the police came by and told us. We will be bringing beverages(soda, beer, water), hot dogs, buns(of course), and probably some chips. Anyone else?? Let's get this thing rolling cause it's just about time!! :bounce

i have a slight setback. i had to go to the dentist today and leave work early. so lucky me gets to work until 7pm tommorrow instead of 5. so i really couldn't get there until 10 or so. so i'm not sure if i'm going to come late friday or around 12 on saturday.

This will be my 7th dmb show on saturday and 4th at the post gazett pavillion. I'm pretty fucking pumped for this one. I just saw DM&F at bonnaroo the other week and dave fucking rocked. My buddies friends from boston are coming down to see dave here at pittsburgh. I guess the post gazette has a kick ass reputation for awesome dave shows. all i know is that it's much better than the bryce jordan center. anyone going to get in there early enough to see keller williams play? i'm pumped as hell for him. that's half the reason i decided to go this year to a dmb show. rock on.

Lately it's been all about Dave. Last fall, the singer-songwriter released his very fine solo debut, "Some Devil," and left the Dave Matthews Band at home to set out on the Dave and Friends Tour with Tim Reynolds, Trey Anastasio and a handful of characters to explore his extra-curricular activities. But now it's summer, and that can only mean one thing: Clear Channel needs his behind in its amphitheaters - especially with Britney, Christina and now even Lollapalooza cancelling.
The Dave Matthews Band opens a two-night stand Saturday night at the Post-Gazette Pavillion, and he's excited to be on the road with his old mates.
"I can't imagine not wanting to play music with DMB," he recently told the Los Angeles Times. "We've had times when we've been at each other's throats. We lived in the van together for five years. The fact that we could live through that is witness to the commitment. ...If it had required the band to end for me to do a solo project, then that would have been - I can't imagine that world. I wouldn't want to be faced with that alternative."
One-man band Keller Williams opens at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $36 and $53.50. Call 412-323-1919.

Hey I got a question... I'm under 21 so I'm not going to drink or tailgate before the show. So what time do you think I should leave to get there in time for Kellar? With no traffic it takes me 45 minutes to get there, but I dont know how much traffic there will be.

As much as I love Thome, since I'm a Tribe fan, Pujols deserves to start. I'd say it's a toss-up. Thome will be there.
