well hello everybody, returned to indiana today from the night one show at post-gazette. beautiful area, it was amazing. the people behind us were great and fun to talk to. the concert. blah. i love dave and every show i am happy. just not into the concert at all. I think so far, for the beginning, its not a good tour for people to go to many shows. this was my fourth show this tour and if you have seen a night one and night two, you have seen all the shows basically. It was fun to hear him play but just not into the show. Just knew no surprises would come out. Im going to shows in august so hopefully and most likely the tour will change a little by then. What are other peoples opinions about this??? catch ya later, long live dmb!!!!

There's going to have to be a great encore to make this show anything other than weak. Other than recently there really isn't anything here to get excited about. The band needs to start using some different songs. Maybe they're just getting back at all the complainers.

the 4 songs are coming along nicely, my fav is hello again. i think this one is seeing the best progression, he can tell the crowd likes this. he is starting to wail at the end and carter is going crazy on the drums. Joyride is doing great too. sugar will is ok, its a good groovy jazz song, and would be great to hear every once in awhile but not every show. crazy-easy, kind of the same as sugar will. its a good song but unlike sugar will, no solo (unless you count stefans intro).

I doubt the shows are going to suck. But there won't be a big element of suprise. The band is playing tight this year and even though they play GiG and Jimi Thing night in and night out doesn't mean that these aren't rocking. Plus the new songs are great.

Sorry but other than a few really nice sets I didn't think last year was all that great. People were just excited to hear a rare song...not neccesarily because it's better than a song that gets played more. And people are judging these sets without considering the 5 spots the new songs are filling. Those new songs are great imo, so maybe that makes the difference. Personally I would rather hear hello again over pay for what you get.

Yeah, I mean I'm not saying that '03 sucked...because it didn't. But the tour started off so strong and ended up kinda just blah towards the middle and end of the tour. But in all I would say 2003 was right up there with 95 as my favorite touring year.

2003 was kind of a weird year with the knife on stage and LeRoi getting sick. It started out great, but weird circumstances ended up getting in the way of the music.

I think the song has potential (ala early loving wings) but as it is, it's kind of a snoozer. Maybe dave needs to write new lyrics for it or something but it sounds like a mix of monkey man and spotlight.

A few years ago I think the band played 15 minutes past curfew so the city fined them $1000 per minute, after 15 minutes it would have been $15000 a minute, so I don't think they want to put up with that anymore.
