Just Decided on a huge Roadtrip from Albany NY goin south for DMB...i was at both SPAC nights...had Tix to Darien Lake...didnt make it...major plans for night two at Hartford fell through...and Antioch was never taken into consideration...but its a go!!!

...didnt read through the 9 pages of posts but if there are anything imparitive i need to know please fill me in

Anyone coming to this show definitely needs to stop and listen to Monticello Road at sidestage. They're a great band from Charlottesville with some impressive music that spans all genres. They have been creating quite a buzz in the East Coast College Circuit. They are going to be passing out over 1,000 demos so try to pick one up at the show. The Flecktones are taking '05 off. They have tour dates up through November. I wouldn't get my hopes up about them showing up in Nashville. They are in Minnessota the next night. Crazier things have happened though.

Speaking of Bela....anyone here going to see them at Dancin' in the District in Nashville? I can't wait....so glad they brought the stage back to the riverfront...much better than the Titans parking lot....

I think AmSouth is a MUCH better venue. And you don't really have to worry about being shot while leaving!

LOL. I think Starwood is a bit bigger, does not look so trashy, does not have ivy growing all over it, and has a better lawn. Plus Dave loves Nashville, and he always puts on a SICK concert every time. Antioch is near downtown(only 15 minutes), so the afterparty is always incredible. Nothing else like it.

if u have a chance u have to go to the wildhorse me and my friends during school would go almost every saturday lots of fun live music there is a bar(i am under age didnt really care about that) dancing its all country music so if u arent into it i would go but it is fun

on saturday if u stay til then Cypress Hill, deSol, and Common Ground play at dancing at the district downtown play the river which will be a good show tickets are $8 so it is worth it

Me and a buddy are making the drive up from Athens wednesday for the show, what are the closest hotels to starwood? We went to the show in 01 but stayed in murfreesboro (sp) which is a little longer drive than we want to make after the show this year, so are there any places to stay within a mile or two so we can walk back? ...did i also hear no tailgaiting in the parking lot at starwood?? I hope that isnt the case.. see yall there

u can tailgate in nash. its not the craziest seen but they let you hang around your car and drink if you want... and if your lookin for a hotel just read thru this thread cause im sure folks have been talkin about it...

Hey Guys...A friend of mine and I decided to go to the Antioch show after the ATL one and we're drivin from LaGrange GA (about an hour sw of atlanta), so it's about a 4 hour or so drive total. The ATL show was my first DMB show, but i've been a fan since Red Rocks. Hopefully we'll see some of yall up there, might stop by the Best Western if it's as good as it sounds. Oh yea, we're in the lawn btw...2 more days!!!

I got to hear them playing around with Too Much in Atlanta for the soundcheck. They did the intro, then were jammin on what would later be the Too Much Outro. So it was really cool to hear that. And they did it fairly late, considering it was 5 or so when they did it and the gates opened at 5:45.

Actually, the Hermitage Hotel is a gorgeous "five diamond" hotel located downtown. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the guys were there. I don't know what it was like before, but it was renovated in 2000 and is really stunning now.

Hmmmmm....do I have any business I need to do down on 6th Avenue North??? ;)
