I know what you mean. Since spac was announced, no one seems to give a shit about darien. and selling seats 300s or worse is tough now b/c lawn at spac is better than 300s at darien imo. I know a lot of people in the same boat as you with tickets to darien that they're trying to get rid of.

I'm from the same town as Rob Esche. Played pickup games a few summers ago with him, back when he was in the minors, I think in Springfield. Anyways, he skated out during the games and one time, when I was skating down the boards, Rob comes in and just derails me. That's why I always root against the flyers. Also, my brother picked up Rob's stick with his stick in front of the net, and Rob got so pissed because he missed a shot that he broke his stick against the crossbar and threw it over the glass. We were all laughing, but Rob sure as hell wasn't.

Sorry guys about the double post, I got click-crazy. The only place in Canada I've been besides Toronto is Cornwall. That place is great, and I swear there is at least five Horton's within three blocks. I'm not complaining, it's great food there, I wish we had them here in CNY.

i was having some posting problems too when i posted IGGY! he scored and was trying to post it, but had some problems. as for CORNWALL!!!! wow! smelliest city in Canada! my hometown is brockville ontario, about 45 mins west of cornwall and i swear when i say that we have an intersection with timmy ho's on 3 of the 4 corners! i swear to you this is true and there in another 2 within 1/2 a mile.

i used to play ball in Utica, NY quite a bit. we would travel down there for a bit tourney every year. we used to stay at a pretty nice hotel and on one side of the hotel it was all nice city and on the back side it was GHETTO! off track betting, live nudes, pawn shop...! jokes!

Cornwall is indeed smelly. Whenever we go over the bridge we gotta all plug our noses b/c of those damn factories or whatever they are.

And about the hotel you're talking about, I think it's the Hotel Utica. I've been there before for banquets, the entrance side is nice and then the back of it is kiddie corner to a lot of, how should I put it, less-classy businesses.
