Question about Gorge camping... (smoking)

Hey all...

I am planning on doing Marysville, and the last 2 Gorge shows... The thing that concerns me is the people... Most everyone I've seen talking about camping at the Gorge is mostly talking about smoking pot all day and all night. I don't smoke... I never have, I never will. I'm bringing my little brother... 17... and he is straight edge, too. Now, I don't preach... basically, I say to each his own... y'know?? I am worried that I am going to have to be isolated all weekend.......... I just don't want to have to be walking through a Cheech and Chong movie...

I was just wondering if the parties get going at 8:00 in the morning, or if people socialize during the day, then start partying at 4 or 5 or whenever...

I drink, and I bring drinks... I am the only person that was "tailgating" at DM+F Oakland... I started at 3:30... about 2 hours before anyone else showed up... as soon as people started showing up, I was handing out beers... cooking hamburgers for those who wanted one.....

Basically, I just want people to know that I'm not a prude... but I DO want to have a good weekend...

i'm a little worried about going to the gorge too...it's just me and one of my girlfriends going and just for safety reasons i'm a little concerned. i love all the dave people i've met at shows but it's still the thought of being 2000 miles from home and camping with thousands of folks i don't know

hey! ive been to dmb at the gorge for the last 5 yrs, and i havent ever smoked there. The first time i ever went was when i was 10 years old and i was perfectly fine. All dave fans are pretty much wonderful people, and besides if they do have pot why would they want to share it with someone who doesnt want it? Now, thats just a waste haha so i really wouldnt worry about it!
