7/16-17 Hartford tickets not sold through Ticketmaster?

So I was going through the Ticketmaster website tonight, scoping it out before Saturday. I notice that the Hartford dates aren't listed on the site. Then to make sure I wasn't going crazy, I checked dmband.com. When clicking on the venue link, this information showed up:

To purchase tickets to any Meadows show, you may do any of the following:

Call 203-265-1501
Call 1-800-477-6849
Visit the ctnow.com Meadows Music Centre Box Office
Visit any tickets.com outlet, including Strawberries, LaSalle or Coconuts Music Stores
Log on to WWW.TICKETS.COM

Does this mean that 7/16/04 and 7/17/04 Meadows tickets can't be purchased through Ticketmaster? Anyone have any past experience with this?

some venues don't use ticketmaster.........tickets.com is NOT a broker....it's just like ticketmaster.....I have used them in the past and haven't had any issues:)

I think that is better that they are not on ticket master and instead on tickets.com becasue the server wont be as jamed on tickets.com as on ticket master. On a side track this will be my first time to the meadows how is it?

The Meadows is an OK venue. Don't be too sure about tickets.com being less busy than tickemaster. Their server can't always handle the volume of tickets from a Dave show. You can also call them (800#) or call or go to the Oakdale box office. They handle Meadows tickets before the season starts.

I didn't say it was a bad thing. I just wasn't sure. And I'm more familiar with Ticketmaster.
