Hi, I was wondering if there was a tab program out there that would make tabbing easier. Thank you for any help

I use 2 programs - Melody Assistant and Transcribe! Basically I put the song in Transcribe, slow it down (it does that really good) and it tells me what notes are being played (on a keyboard tho). Then I put those notes on the virtual keyboard for melody assistant (turn on the tab for the staff) and it shows me where to play the notes. However, sometimes you need to mess around a little with notes ie might have to move them up a string. Then you export the tab to a txt file.
Its the technological way of tabbing. Even the slowdown part of Transcribe is useful in itself. I've tabbed one thing this way - Sleeping Dogs Lie intro by the Flecktones for the guitar.
Not sure about the success you're going to get with a loud band behind a guitar or with heavy chords. I tabbed Sleeping Dogs from an acoustic performance.
