Peavey Guitars

I just played a Peavey Briarwood DR5 and really liked it, but I've never heard anything about them. Anyone have any advice about Peavey guitars?

my friend has one, im not sure of the model, but it looks really nice and it sounds pretty decent, id say about as good as a decent takamine. id never heard of peavey guitars before i met this kid and i was surprised considering it actually sounds good, and its much better for picking than harder strumming
