I am going to be getting another acoustic here soon and was wondering if any owners of the Taylor Big Baby or Taylor 110 were around and had any insight.
Another question, and this might be a dumb one, but what is the difference in the two? They are pretty compariable in price, so I was just wondering.

i know the taylor 110 is a full sized guitar and i think the big baby is 15/16 size
i think that taylor has a thing on their website where you can compare different models

I own a big baby and absolutly love it. The big baby and 110 are very similer. Both have solid tops, and laminite backs and sides. The big baby is 15/16ths the size of a full size dreadnought (110) I would reccomend the Big Baby (Sapple Top) due to it's playablity and durability. I played the 110, and found that the big baby does not feel as cumbersome as a full size acoustic wich was a plus. It does lack in low end tone, but not by much. For the price (I think I payed 400 for mine) the big baby is awsome.

I would recomend the 110 I own one and its tone is great. The best way to decided between the two is to go play them guitar center should have them both.

i have a big baby and it's wonderful. the 110 i played feels very similar, just slightly more substantial and maybe one minor step up in quality. check out the difference where the neck meets the body. the woods used are the same (solid sitka spruce top and laminated -- aka fake -- sapele back and sides). maybe the 110 has a slightly better tone, but i'm sure there's not much to choose between them in sound. playability is very slightly different so give each a try. the bonus of the big baby is that the size and weight are more managable than any full sized guitar (though it feels like a full sized guitar most of the time) and also that it is cheaper and probably a bit more robust. both very good guitars.
