Besides the coin noises, what he's playing seems to match exactly the sound that should be coming out. I mean, it looks like he's playing what we're hearing.

Yeah, I think it is real. Besides, at one part he messes up a little bit, so that really proves it couldn't be coming from the game.

the coin noises were harmonics.....
you can quickly see how he did it, even on your acoustic....

somewhere around the 5th fret, harmonic on the 2nd then the 1st string quickly in that sequence.....err somethin like that :p

Yeah I think we realised that they're harmonics...but how to make harmonics sound like Mario eating a mushroom and growing is another thing...

what the fuck how the hell do you play like that haha. and i was pumped when i got stairway down :ugh: . ive never seen anyone play the guitar like those 2 guys on acoustic. thats really amazing. it sounds like they have a whole band with them. maybe if i live for 80 more years i can get half as good as them!

He's using a screambox probably in conjunction with an almost negative amount of tone. It's a thin sound that is so putridly overdriven (and LOUD) that he's drowning out his highs and lows.

I can barely hear some sour notes, and his harmonies are off in places... which makes me say it's most likely real.

...as much as I don't wanna believe that. :ugh::freak:eek:

it's definitely real. I can't figure out for the life of me the sound of Mario growing, and the sound of him going down the pipes. The coin harmonics are just the last two strings on the fifth fret. But the sound of him growing I have been trying to figure out, I can kinda get it close by mimicking his fingers but its hard to see exactly which frets he's using
