So happy!

Keller Williams to open for DMB

We are pleased to announce that Keller Williams has been confirmed as the support act for Dave Matthews Band summer show dates 6.26.04 through 6.30.04. Keller Williams will replace Robert Randolph and The Family Band. :multi

I was wondering when an ATO artist would open, very cool (not that I'll be there).

Keller Williams is an acoustic improv singer. He uses several different istruments while on stage including guitars, bass, drums (gongs), and everything in between. He then loops them into part of the song he is playing. He is awesome to see. Truely a one man band. If you want to check him out, download a few of his shows from the Internet Archive.

Also, he is not signed with ATO. You are thinking Ben Kweller. Keller Williams is signed with String Cheese Incident's record label. I believe that Keller has played DMB songs in the past, so maybe he will jam with Dave :). Would be cool. Hope that helps.

Keller was never an official member of string cheese...he plays with them from time to time, and has released a live album with them but keller has been a solo act since the early 90's. A good friend of mine knows keller from a long time ago when keller used to sleep in his truck...Keller is an amazing talent...and being that I met mr. williams and have walked earl...Keller rocks!

i was so happy that I was going to a show that Galactic was opening for, now I'm jealous cause I wanna go to the Keller shows instead.

Keller is the man!!! I have seen him upwards of 15 times, and will hopefully see him at least 15 more. He is my favorite!!! I am pissed that he is not opening Alpine because that was a dream for me to see Dave and Keller together

that's awesome. keller williams is fuckin amazing!!! i'm not gonna get to see any of the shows he's opening up, but all you guys who get to see him your're lucky. hope he jams with the band, that'd be awesome as well.

Damn...Keller opening for Dave...wish I was at that show.

Honestly, Keller will make many rethink about who is the best acoustic guitarist they've heard. Keller can hang with Tim or more anyday of the week.

I'm pretty sure that Keller Williams was signed to ATO, but then left the label for some reason.

Breathe, Kidney in a Cooler, Skitso, Vacate, Freeker by the Speaker, Blatent Ripoff, Best Feeling, Thin Mint, Inhale to the Chief... lots more.

By the way, he has a new double live album coming out June 29.
