Yeah, that is true, it does happen to both genders, so it's not just a guys-do-it-to-gals thing.
I feel, though, like there should be a rule that everyone knows. If we go out once and you're not into me, you don't need to tell me that; it's totally fine. But if we hang out a bit, have a blast together, and our genitals have locked in, don't be a freaking coward about it.

It doesn't help starting a relationship at all. People aren't willing to put in the effort when it comes to meeting people/trying things out because they can just find another person to date via the internet.
