Re: College Football Season
Well, I've gotten over my sulking and can now re-post.
Ryan, good game. Regardless of how bad our O may be, your D certainly stepped up and has already made strides under Young, best of luck the rest of the way.
Joe Cox looks like he throws the ball under water. I knew Stafford had a quick release, but damn. But really I almost don't want to blame him as much as the coaches. When something works, you stick with it. We rocked that first series, I mean rocked it. Did exactly what we should of done (run it down their throats), and scored. Cox looked good on that fade to the corner that was knocked away, just a great series. Then Bobo (our OC) feels like he has to be even, so he starts throwing it, a lot. Cox made some bad reads, and a few dropped balls, but still, we had no identity at all and that was frustrating, probably the most frustrating thing at all. Sad to see us lose Sturdivant again for the year (as a reminder he tore the same ACL last season in pre-season), gotta be frustrating for the big guy. Penalties are still an issue. Overall I was just frustrated. I don't feel like we got beat by a superior team, but rather mental errors, and no real game plan. Hopefully this will improve, quickly, or it's gonna be a long year.
Go Dawgs, Drive Safe.

There ain't nothing like being a bulldog on a Saturday Night... after winning a football game. I mean like whipping Tennessee's ass to start with, then ten more, then another one. This is the Game Plan. We have no alternative plan.
