    Round 5 Recap

    33) Proudest Monkey - good pick. although...if you're playing against Brett, you're going to have a love/hate relationship with this one. This usually gets some good plays.

    34) Warehouse - The band didn't play this much in 2008/2009, but i think they are a little more people want this as a rotation song. So i expect to see a healthy amount of plays from Warehouse.

    35) Everyday - Great pick. Sadly, this seems to be the only song from this album they EVER play. And its a solid rotation player.

    36) Stay - isn't as heavy as it used to be, but still quite present. Definitely will score points with this one.

    37) Sweet - interesting choice. I could see it disappearing, or I could see Dave thinking that every venue needs to hear it. Could be a big score. Its a risk this team can afford to take at this point.

    38) So Damn Lucky - i'm not sure about this one. Toward the last 1/4 of 2010 this song disappeared and was only played at D&T shows in 2011. I've noticed since Blackjack showed up, SDL has slowly faded. And i think it might be because both songs have really similar outros. There's far worse picks to make, but I'm just "not sure" on this one.

    39) Too Much - This one always seems to want to return to rotation but it never really gets there. I'm hoping that the caravans were a sign that Too Much is back. Could score some points, it could sit dormant. Hard to tell.

    40) One Sweet World - Nice pick. This always gets a good number of plays. Surprised it took all the way to 40 to be picked.

    Re: **Deer Creek 2012**

    Round 6

    41) The Stone - Not played near enough, but will get some plays. Could Phillipx2 have gotten us some more Stone plays this summer?

    42) Time Bomb - Personally, I hope this is shelved. but i doubt it. The biggest problem with this song (aside from not working live) is there is ZERO creativity with its set placement.

    43) Seek Up - may not show up right away on the tour, but it'll pop up. Handful of plays.

    44) Lie In Our Graves - This one will get a good amount of plays throughout. Didn't show up til a little later in 2010, but i think it'll get at least 10 plays.

    45) Granny - See LIOG.

    46) Canít Stop - Pleeeease no. Sorry, but, i'm hoping for zero plays. I think the fact that it didn't show up at any other caravans may be a sign that its gone for a while.

    47) Anyone Seen the Bridge - not sure. really depends on so much and too much's amount of plays. Not really sure this was a good pick

    48) Shotgun - I can't really tell here either. This seems to be an every other year song. Its never gone long enough to totally forget it or extremely demand it. And everyone who went to a caravan got to see it last summer, so i think dmb puts it on the shelf til the fall or summer 2013.

Its hard to make out. It'll be easier to make choose the top ones after its over. But on the bottom I have Betty's Vag at this time. HOWEVER, if this ends up being YEAR 4 of promoting Big Whiskey (every song at every stop), Betty is going to be a killer team. I also don't really know how many plays its non BW songs is going to get either. That's why I currently have them there.

    Re: **Deer Creek 2012**

Round Seven sees some stretches on picks

    41) What Would You Say - Nice pick. This song took 2009 off, but I'm sure it'll see a few plays this summer.

    42) Rhyme & Reason - Used to be a heavy catalog song. The last few years its been resting (zero plays summer 2010). I think it'll show up a bit more than WWYS.

    43) What You Are - this pick is a stretch. It'd be nice to see back, but I really don't see it. 1-3 plays max.

    44) Halloween - Deer Creek please. This should see probably 5 plays.

    45) Digging A Ditch - I think this is a Dave song. One he likes. I think bringing it back in 2010 he remembered how much he liked it. I see a healthy amount this summer.

    46) Sister - Great pick. How is it still available at 46? STEAL

    47) When the World Ends - Another stretch of a pick. But we're getting to later rounds. When this one has shown up in the past few years, it hasn't been much.

    48) Pig - Should get the same amount as this team's previous pick, the stone. A nice handful. A good pick for this late.

    Round Eight

    49) JTR - Bobby Nines, decides to gamble. Hope it pays off. For you. For me. For setlists. For fans. For venues. For the crew. For DMB. For music.

    50) Good Times Bad Times - solid. I can actually see (of all the new covers from Summer 2011) this one sticking around.

    51) The Idea of You - see "Shotgun".

    52) Say Goodbye - i think this another one they forgot how much they like to play or found a new love for it again. They seem to love extending the drum/flute intro on it. I think it'll stick this summer.

    53) Burning Down the House - I think this one is close to the point of fizzling out. Maybe it'll show up once or twice. They didn't quite beat this one to death, but were certainly trying.

    54) Recently - let's hope this shows up. I'm not counting on it, but lets hope.

    55) Dreaming Tree - Its been dormant for a little too long. I can see this being one of those "special brought back" songs for 2012.

    56) Eh Hee - outlook not so good. i think it may be brought back in years following an album or such, but when they're playing unheard new material in a tour, i don't see this one being a player.

    Re: **Deer Creek 2012**

    Round (Bobby) Nine(s)

    57) Baby Blue - Eh, i can see a play or 2. Not much. But we're at a point where this is probably a smart pick.

    58) Whiter Shade of Pale - personally i'd like to hear this again. thought it was a great E1. I think along with GTBT, this one has a good shot, cuz its a solo E1.

    59) Break Free - I really think this one is gonna start collecting dust again. Let's hope not, but realistically i think it was a bust out for 2011 that goes right back on the shelf.

    60) Out of My Hands - Good pick, Sean. Election year = OOMH. This is like the biggest buzzkill at a show for me. Just destroys any energy at a venue immediately. I see this getting some plays.

    61) Grace is Gone - hard to tell. My gut says no. But i could see this making some rounds.

    62) The Last Stop (will return in 2013) - gonna stick with the facts given on this one. PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG DMB!

    63) Typical Situation - i see this coming back much like it was in 2009. And lets hope the creek gets it!

    64) Bests of Whats Around - I can see this getting some love for a few plays this summer. Should play it more, sounded superb at Lakeside
