That intro is one of the most overrated things in his catalog. Cool to see but I'm blown away by the reaction on the fan boards right now.

Not only is it not overrated and awesome, the real point is that it even happened. Bruce said a year ago he would never do this again. Gives me hope I'll see Jungleland again one day.

It's extremely overrated. Prove it is much better hot off of a song like "My Love Will Not Let You Down," "Badlands" etc.

I will agree, though, it is amazing he even played it and that is indeed the true point.

I hope he puts jungleland on the shelf. That was Clarence's song and it's not like it would be even remotely the same without him. Then again, I've been fortunate to see it a hand full of times.

On another note, the setlists keep on getting better. The band is so freaking hot right now.

I wish Dave could take some pointers on Bruce how to create and build on a setlists because the first three shows of DMB's tour are an outright embarrassment.

The fact of the matter is Bruce and E Street BLEW DMB out of the water when I saw them back in April. Not even comparable really. (DMB and Bruce are my top 2 so I compare often).

He has better songs but for me, the the category he really kills DMB in is the energy/commitment and the set list selection and show PACING. It also doesn't hurt that he can pull an ungodly rare audible out of his ass at any given moment, either.

My god, some of these encores are insane. I was impressed by the six-song encore we got in Greensboro, but apparently that's nothing for Bruce.

One of his kids is in my class in college... I don't know her or anything, but it's very surreal just seeing her around campus. Think we have a shot at having Bruce as our commencement speaker?

No but you clearly need to stalk her out (in a non-creepy way of course) and become friends with her. And when she mentions who her dad is, act like you've never heard of him. Then act like you're just discovering his music and that you really wanna see him live so you go see a concert with her, get backstage, and meet everyone. I mean it's pretty obvious what you have to do here. It's up to you.

As far as these shows are going...pretty damn awesome!

I love the length but for me, I don't see a European set I'd take over any from the Spring in the US. Those sets, albeit a little shorter, had much more pacing/structure focus and they busted out some super rare stuff. Not that they are not doing so in Europe, I'm just not a fan of the BITUSA/"hits" (Hungry Heart) centered setlists.

Wrigley is going to be nuts because they will be lengthy and I think he will dig deep into the catalog.

The fall arena tour is what I'm waiting for, though!
