Blog Article Reviewing Camden Show

I posted a thread not too long ago asking for pictures of the camden show for an article I intended on writing for my friend's blog. The review I did of the show is now up. Enjoy DMB fans! and check out the rest of the blog too!

It was my first time there. Certainly not the nicest of areas, but the venue had quite a view of the philly skyline which was awesome.

Commas inside of quotes, and you should use the double quotes, not single quotes, for song titles. But other than that, very nice post.

Re: Blog Article Reviewing Camden Show

I actually finished mine on my own little side blog. Wasn't a completely positive post, mainly because I'm finding the sets stale. But I did positively review the new music as well as the end of N2 (oh, and that epic Typical!)

The setlist could look like another on paper but when the band.brings the passion they brought n2, it matters not to.me. and I had no complaints with the setlist. Regardless, I see way more progression in this "album tour" than i did in 09

You hit the nail on h head. They could play "Mary had a little lamb" and they would bring the house down with all the energy this year. I don't love the sets, but you captured the fun of the show. Nice review.

Re: Blog Article Reviewing Camden Show

couldnt have said it better myself. i must say out of all the shows ive seen from this band, camden x2 2012 will always stand out. like you said the energy from the band and the crowd was crazy. i must say there were a lot of pre-teens there that were a little eh, but it didnt ruin anything for me. i wouldnt object to at least night 1, if not both, being released. and for people shooting down the riff, iam very surprised. it is a great song, and i was glad to hear it again in hershey. but you are a great writer my friend, well done.

Re: Blog Article Reviewing Camden Show

Nice read, that being said Camden sucks! Cities a dump, venue is structurally flawed, skylines it's only positive notable. Lucky for the folks at Camden Dave & Phish play some killer shows there or it would be just like the factories that surround it. Abandoned!! Went there for night 2 09 & although the music was great I'd never go back. Sidenote: the fans are also great! Met alot of cool folks down that way, props to those that go!

Good read. Just one thing: The band did not play Camden in '99 or '00. They played multiple shows at Veterans Stadium those years. But, good job.

Really like this review. Couldn't have said it better. I enjoyed every second at both shows.
