Read my above quote that you must have missed because you can't read or I don't know

oh and I was at the show, heard the setlist, don't need to see it to know that it was a good show. Strong effort though on your part

Re: Should I go to Hershey?

The band has played 16 shows this month. Half of them have included some combination of ehhee or seven in the first two opening spots. Seven opened 4 shows in a row. Eh Hee has opened twice. The Seehee combo has been played at least three times at some point in a show this tour. Out of the seven performaces of GiG this tour, it has segued into EH four times. Out of this year's five performances of Everyday, 40% have opened shows. Eh hee has proceeded from 100% of these Everyday openers...I could continue.

Every time you hear Seven played this tour there is a 50% chance it directly preceeds or follows Eh Hee, a BW tune, or Can't Stop. Eh hee has been paired with Grace 6/14 performances and 4/14 with Seven. There have been two Everyday/Ehhee segues, two three-song runs of Seven/GiG/Ehhee, two SMLAM/Ehhee combos, and at least one glorious run of Shake Me->Eh Hee->Seven.

I'm only providing the raw data. Interpret my findings. Derive support from them. Build your own theories and conclusions around them. But do not question my analysis. My methodology and algorithms are sound.

Re: Should I go to Hershey?

I was at the show. It was damn good, they had a lot of intesity and didn't "mail it in". The reason it was a one song encore was because of the thunder/lighting and looming pooring down rain that started about 10 min after the show.

So Typical Situation got cut, and Pig and Rapunzel got replaced by Ants Marching. Talk about the Hershey squirts.

Re: Should I go to Hershey?

I was there. This show was solid throughout. High Energy other than MercyHands. But BEF>Bartender, Shotgun, Nancies>Warehouse, Grey St, crush, The Riff and DDTW were all highlights for me. That was the first time I saw Warehouse with the "Woo!" Intro.

I don't really see what's to complain about with this show. A lot of classics and good newer songs.

Agreed. Was a great show. Loved getting the Riff, and everything else was great. Helped a kid get a pick, too...which, in turn, may be beneficial for my fundraising efforts. It's all about producing good karma.

Re: Should I go to Hershey?

Typical Situation
Grey Street
Don't Drink the Water
Pig
PNP -->
Rapunzel

Would have been amazing. Not to mention shortly before that was Shotgun, Dancing Nancies ---> Warehouse. My goodness.

Yeah, I mean it does suck we missed those songs. And right as the show ended I was standing behind a girl that got a setlist and I'm not gonna lie I was pissed when I saw it. But it wasn't the bands fault. Rapunzel and Ants are kind of a wash IMO but it was a punch to the gut missing Typical and Pig. If this was my last show of the summer i may be a little more sour about it, but thankfully I have Starlake to look forward to. But when you look at the show for what it is, its not bad at all.

Re: Should I go to Hershey?

I don't see what all the complaints are about. This set seems good to me. It would have been a great set with Typical and Pig, but it's still good. 10/18 on "good" songs is not a bad ratio at all, considering their current rotation of songs.

Great show. Great set. Typical and Pig would have been stellar, but as many others have said, the energy was high. And honestly, no matter what the setlist is, I'm always ecstatic to be at a show, dancing, singing, having a great time with great people.

Re: Should I go to Hershey?

Seven>The Riff is a pretty good run, albeit a bit played out this year. And then Shotgun, Nancies>Warehouse is nice. Mercy is good but OOMH fucking blows so that kills any momentum there, and then the final four songs are solid despite knowing what got cut. There was a couple chances to really take the show to another level, but they opted to throw in tunes like You & Me, Out of My Hands, and fucking Eh Hee to open. A lot of laziness all around.
