great set last night. some repeats from spac night 1 but no big deal. knocked a few "have not heard live" off my list last night, most of which were new songs. everybody wake up was a pleasant surprise. the band really showed why I love them last night - cannot but enjoy them when you see the great time these guys have on stage.
the star bangled banner was a great start to the show. I did not mind time bomb but honestly the whole time I was looking at the time on my phone and thinking "they better not close with this" as well as "not an ants closer, please please, not an ants closer".

the thing that the writer in the Buffalo news fails to realize, is that a lot of fans of the band like them for their slow songs - a lot of the girls, a lot of the couples. So I think they cater to that. I would love a set without any slow songs but would not fault the show for them being there. space between was a treat as I have not heard it solo before.

I just don't understand why someone would say LYD is on a set unless they ACTUALLY SAW the setlist. And even then, I would rather be surprised

Someone got a text from someone at the show saying they saw that a song that hadn't been played in 15 years was on the setlist. The person who received the text had been to 11 or so shows previously and had held a sign for Let You Down at all shows ( I think). They thought that might be the song that was going to be played. I think their friend was messin around with them.

UTTAD83 has apparently seen more than one setlist from Darien, hence his comment "no setlist I've seen" instead of "the setlist I saw". I'd like to see it too, see if anything got changed up. Hopefully it will be up on the almanac soon.

i LOVED this show. and, with the rain we had earlier in the day, I turned and said to my friend.. "since JTR opened in '10, we're getting DDTW tonight.." and sure as shit, I was high-fived by everyone around me. So awesome. Halloween-->Billies.. fucking unreal. UNREAL. Fingers crossed it ends up on a CD.

NOW, I have a small, issue, you could say. A friend(well, someone I went to high school with) is my friend on FB.. posted about how she met Boyd... then posted a picture.. i am like 99% sure.. it isn't Boyd.

AND i have no idea how to post pictures in here, but hopefully i've uploaded properly. please don't bite my head off if I did.. I just want to make sure this girl isn't like.. made a fool. I believed it was him at first, but after looking at it more and more.. it looks too young to be Boyd, and his smile doesn't seem big enough.

Maybe, I'm just a jealous bitch. maybe.

From where I was sitting back in 403, the aisles got packed with people going to the bathroom/to get beer once Sweet started. I assume that's what Dave was talking about, but I could be wrong.

Question for someone in the know.... I could've missed it being mentioned here, but what happened to Darien's 11:00pm curfew? I know it's been in effect for prior DMB @ Darien shows, so I was looking at my phone during Timebomb going "This show is seriously going to end with Timebomb? Random...." Did they finally lift the curfew, or is DMB about to pay some serious cash for going 17 or 18 minutes over?

Not sure on what the actual answer is, but it's possible the curfew wasn't in effect with the next day being a holiday. I mean there were fireworks shows going well after the show ended, so maybe with today being the 4th there was an exception.

A friend worked security sat night and said they paid 15k to go over curfew.
