Who REALLY misses the tours from way-back-when???
I've been going to see DMB every year since 1997 -usually 3-4 times a year.
I miss hearing the songs. I was always annoyed when Butch would play the 10-minute keyboard solo ... only to be replaced by a 15-minute Tim Reynold's jam.
I find myself liking the actual song, but then he totally loses me with the 15-minutes of jams.

I will always LOVE DMB, I think their music is amazing. But the concerts have left me wanting more.

name me ONE time when butch played for 10 minutes or tim played for 15. and if you're talking about the songs totaling 15 minutes, not tim's part itself, then why is there no complaint about the extended violin and sax sections on other songs? if you can't take tim soloing for 2-3 minutes on two step, how do you continue to function during a 5 minute violin solo on nancies?

Agreed... One of the best shows I have ever seen or heard was Piedmont park with Butch... His solos added something completely amazing to the previous shows
