Sure I can. I did. They have had like maybe 4 top 5 finishes since 1978? They won a bunch of titles with one coach who had a stranglehold on recruiting for whatever reason (won't get into that) and then promptly became a mediocre program results-wise after he retired except for 1995 and 2008 and maybe another year or 2 in there.
In my lifetime Uconn has been a better program than UCLA and that's not even close. UCLA's decade and a half of dominance was unbelievable and you can't argue with 11 titles but for me their lack or continued success had affected their recruiting and their future, which is a point I made in my original post on the subject. Who's set up better for the future right now, Uconn or UCLA?
