yea it's actually quite impressive from a consistency stand point

only town i've ever seen where they actively cheer against other teams and rarely cheer for their own team

I actually get laughs sitting at bars just listening to people go on about stuff that they obviously just have no idea what they are talking about. it's fine to be bitter and hate other teams. I get that. Just try to sound like you know what you are talking about a little bit.

i was at a pens-flyers game a few years back in philly and honestly, there was a group of guys that heckled me so much that they just wasted good money on their tickets

they couldn't have seen more than 5-10 mins of actual game action. rest of the time was devoted to getting drunk and yelling at anything not wearing ugly orange

Nice to see Crash well be back sooner than expected. Flyers may not even be in last place at the time, though truthfully, they should be ahead of the Devils.

In real hockey news, Isles still haven't come to terms with Brock Nelson, which stinks and rumor has them offering a contract to Zidlicky. I'd rather see Pulock get the chance than sign a veteran but maybe Pulock not yet ready. Zdlicky is steady.

Flyers won't be worse than the Devils and Hurricanes. I've got em 6th in the division.

Sabres lock up Cody Franson for 2 years, $6.6 million. They've made some decent acquisitions this offseason. Spent a lot of money, sure, but some decent acquisitions in terms of ability.

I'm interested to see if we see any other pre-training camp moves or if teams are gonna stand pat for now and see if they identify any holes once training camp gets going.
