Re: Favorite beer of choice?

Chimay, usually Red, when I'm feeling fancy, Smithwicks when I'm feeling normal.

Wasn't sure if you were joking or not. I've never seen it either. You can buy it on eBay usually, but it's butt-expensive.

I found a website where you can buy cases for something like $250.

    EDIT: http://shop.belgianshop.com/acatalog...ist_beers.html
    24 would cost you $432.

no, smithwicks has been guinness for a while, but I think guinness was acquired by someone, too.

thats because most mexican beers that come in clear/green bottles are pretty much already skunked.. A lime wedge/salt are a way of balancing some of that flavor.

Maybe that's what I was thinking of then, I knew it came from the same place as another known dark beer.

Look for beers that are brewed by monks. They are (usually) great and over 10% alchy, so you get the best of both worlds haha.

I used to like stella. Until I was a moron and used it for the century club, thus causing me to pull the trigger, making me hate it forever.

Oh really? Hmm maybe I'm thinking of something else then. It's Peculier Pub in NYC, they have a huge bottled world beer list, like 20 on tap and then a rotating selection of bottles/taps, which is where I thought I saw this. I could be wrong, but that name looked very familiar when I saw it, though, but maybe it was some other $29 bottle of beer hah. I'll look/ask next time I'm there.
