we haven't done this in a few days.

discuss your favorite version of OSW.

so far we've done these songs, here's the consensus:
Minarets - versions from 95 era basically, 'Tomorrow never knows' intro, BOWA release from that year
Last stop - Live in chicago release,
Typical situation - no real consensus, maybe we'll come back to it.
Warehouse - Piedmont release and BOWA Live Disc release
Proudest Monkey - studio release was the most popular, with 6.7.96 in second, 3rd Rothbury 08.
Seek up - 7.30.01, honorable mentions to RR95 and Gorge realease '02.
Say Goodbye - BOWA release had the most votes, Live trax 3 in 2nd.
Bartender - 8.19.08 at the Staples Center, a lot of mention for Folsom field.
Two step - '08 and '09 versions DC/MSG/Alpine/Starlake. RR95 and Central park.
#41 - 4.20.02, ,Listener Supported, studio was popular too.
Shotgun - 6.10.06 seemed to be the favorite
Dancing Nancies - seems to be a tie between RR95 and CP

I'm not sure of my favorite but I know one thing...All versions without the OSW Intro are automatically eliminated from the discussion.

I like the 4.20.02 version on the Warehouse CD but I think I prefer earlier versions with the original Sax/Violin counter-melody. Something like this show on 12.8.93

Tampa Ice Palace 5-1-1999. Best One Sweet World I've ever seen and heard. Of course I was in the front row center thanks to the first year of the warehouse. The Intro was so nice and during the outro, Dave had his eyes closed, big dorky grin on his face, and all the instrument were playing like the world would never end, god it was so good.

I immediately thought of ANY version from 99 when I saw this thread. I've always loved 7-20-99 and 6-3-99.
