Question about stage set-up and seating...

Haven't made it to a show yet this tour, but I'll definitley be at the Tulsa show on 10-2.

I have a deal on the table for two tickets in sec. 113 (please see link below). This is off to the rear side of the stage, but they are up pretty close. I actually sat directly behind the stage at a show in 2003 and wound up loving it.

My question is for those that have been there this year, is there anything on stage that would obstruct my views from this section? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Question about stage set-up and seating...

I haven't been to a show in an arena since 2002, so I couldn't say. You won't be far from me though. I'm in 112. So I'm hoping the side view is decent.

Just sit in section F1 or 2 then your problems will be solved!

Re: Question about stage set-up and seating...

depends. sometimes they have netting, wires or boxes for gear surrounding the stage. being that far back, and angled, i'd imagine you'd have gear boxes and equipment there. i'd pass if i were you as it's not an "open stage" setup

Thanks for the info folks....guess I'll wait and see if something better comes up-- just don't want to settle for the 300 section.

the sound will probably be worse from that 100 level than a good side view from the 300s. take JPJ arena for example

Re: Question about stage set-up and seating...

My buddy and I were in a pretty similar situation for Hartford N1 this year with TREMENDOUS results. The angle to the stage ended up being perfect and it felt like I had a close up shot of each member of the group straight down the line.
