For those of you that know Groton, his apartment burned down

Copied and pasted from the Warehouse boards... just wanted you guys to be aware as well.

Hey y'all one of our own suffered a major setback tonight and needs our help. Greg Groton had his aparment burn down. No one was hurt, but he lost EVERYTHING.

He is still going to the Gorge to try make the best of a bad situation.

Sam and I have spotted him: a tent. some luggage, a sleeping bag, and a flashlight.

If you are going to the Gorge and staying at WH, please bring an extra beer, a hug and maybe some XXL clothes for our friend. (44x32 pants)

Please post here if you have any extra supplies and I will make sure he gets the info.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but either way it's not really relevent to the situation and what's happened.

Greg is a good guy and a member of the DMB community. Let's all try to help him out as much as possible.

And if you're at the Gorge this weekend make sure to buy him a beer.

That's awful....I guess it means nothing, but I'm just curious how his Gorge tickets didn't burn with the apartment. Did he perhaps keep them on his person at all times? Or maybe did he grab them on his way out of the house before the fire ravaged it? Either way, a shame.

He is having them will called, they did burn up

I'm sure if he explains his situation to WH/LN he will be able to get replacement tickets. If not I know people on the WH have already offered him extra tickets.

It happened around 4:30pm this afternoon. He was at work, but his grandparents were home. There were no major injuries, but the apartment building is decimated.

I was just on the WH boards (for the first time in about 8 months), and Greg's getting a lot of support... lots of people reaching out to make sure he has a good time at Gorge & help him and his family out for when he gets back.
