No, I'm not ok with it. If all the shows wern't at the same venue it would be ok, but a lot of the people there would have been at all 3 shows. They deserve some variety.

I don't mind it, at all. Dave Matthews is an obvious supporter of Danny Barnes...even calling him "his favorite musician" currently. There is nothing wrong with Dave giving Danny 8 minutes of time to help develop songs he currently hasn't finished. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Plus, it's an obvious attempt to preserve Dave's voice.

Im not there, but if I were I would be very disappointed. Playing them once I am all for, but playing them again the following two nights would piss me off because that would then be 4 song slots that were lost for DMB tunes.

Im surprised to see that the last recently was last played when i saw it june 12 at spac. Strange. And easily recently was the best song of that night. The ppl at gorge were probably in for a treat tonight when they heard recently.

I think it is very weak tho to play these D Barnes songs 3 nights in a row because this is not an opener...they should play dmb songs on a night 3. Barnes should open if he wants these songs to be played this much.

Edit: Or if the band wants to give Daves voice a rest. Either way, they shouldnt have played these songs so much. I hope they kicked ass tho at least.

not really. if he wants to save his voice, play ill back you up. even if it sounds a bit rough like at nissan, its a quiet song and it wont harm his voice.
