i don't get the whole clicking thing...i don't really hear it. i think the mix is great...

in response to your post...no. i was there. while it was a cool experience i would not want another one. i was so far away. there was just an enormous distance created from the music by being so far away. i mean yes it was amazing but i have had so much more fun at smaller venues.

I think another show like this would be pretty awesome though. Got to thinking about it back when the 'woodstock 40th anniversary' stuff was going on, how cool would that be to have another festival with some of todays great bands with a 100,000+ crowd? I mean, I know there are music festivals (OSL,10K,ACL,Roo') but i mean just one massive throwdown.

Of course, these times are a changin' and it probably wouldnt be safe. Owell, its a dream

I was 25 feet from the stage. Closest I've ever been at a DMB show! I'm in the DVD several times. It all depends on how badly you want it.

Besides, it was a free show. I'll take free DMB any day of the week and thrice on Sunday.

Not Central Park, but another concert like that would be great.

Why not a Woodstock show (not THE festival, just in Woodstock). Or how about build a eco-friendly stage out where logging has destroyed land. Do a huge concert out there, and all the money goes to replanting trees and helping the wildlife there.

I like this idea.

Correct me if I am wrong, but NYC has only allowed a handful of CP type concerts at Central Park. And I assume it is the city approaching the bands, not vice versa. So, Central Park won't happen again.

But there will be plenty of big, CP type concerts that may be free in the future.
