d+t venue capacity poll.

would you prefer d+t play smaller venues (2000-3000) or bigger venues (4000-7000+)?

vote.

Re: d+t venue capacity poll.

im always for smaller venues except for this. 2000 people is too small for D+T, tickets would be hard to come by and they're a bigger act than that

Re: d+t venue capacity poll.

bigger. if they're going to tour, i'd at least like to be able to get a ticket without emptying my bank account. i don't care if its not as "intimate". you're there for the music and the whole point of them touring is to actually BE THERE. thats really hard to do when you can't get a ticket.

Re: d+t venue capacity poll.

Smaller, like a venue with a capacity between 2000-4000.

A smaller venue offers more intimacy. So I choose smaller.

Re: d+t venue capacity poll.

Bigger, because I don't want to have to pay $300 a ticket to see them. I'd obviously rather see them in a smaller setting, but tickets are hard enough to come by for venues that hold 4,000+.

This is going to sound very selfish, but it is how I think.

Smaller if I can for sure get a ticket. Bigger if I can't.

Half arenas or venues like Radio City are fine.

I will choose smaller venue because it's more intimate. But I will sacrifice that for a lengendary or beautiful venue like Radio City.

Indifferent... In 2007, the crowd at the Wang Center in Boston was obnoxious, then the crowd at the UMass arena the next night was surprisingly well behaved.

I had a few idiots behind me but yeah that was a good crowd.

I'd say 2000-6000 is a good size for D&T. there is two venues that I'd love to see them at that are 2000 or smaller.

Re: d+t venue capacity poll.

2000 or even smaller. any bigger takes away the intimacy and controllability of the crowd.

tix are harder to come by, but i would rather be shunned and have great shows for those there than have them play in larger venues.

Re: d+t venue capacity poll.

If you're watching the DAve and Tim show rite now, then you can easily agree and see that they could fill up ampitheatre's. It would lose it's intimacy but their's no other cons that i'd forsee other than that.
