Beginning Guitar Player

Hello ants! I got my brother's old guitar today and don't know how to play anything except the Californication riff. What are some good beginner tabs to learn how to play by artists? I want to eventually learn how to play Dave songs, but know that's along way out.... Thanks for any help! If you have any sites with tabs, resources, and what not that would be amazing!

Re: Beginning Guitar Player

If you plan on teaching yourself how to play, I highly recommend taking a couple of months to slowly go through these 11 guitar lessons. They are very thorough and a great place to start.

Obviously dmbtabs for dmb, but this for everything else! This is easily the best guitar resource out there. 99.9% of it is free, and this site covers SO much. Mostly every lesson has youtube vids to go with the lessons too!
