My cousin met Carter tonight...

In Frisco outside the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Said he was with his wife and 2 kids and got to chat with him for 5 or so minutes. The best part of the story, he was spotted by my great aunt who is around 70 years old. She has the Red Rocks dvd and that's really all she knows of the band. She saw Carter and with no excitement said, "Hey, isn't he the drummer for DMB... that's cool." Just thought I would share. Pretty funny how my great aunt saw him and didn't care.

That's awesome that your cousin met Carter as long as he wasn't annoying him since he was with his family. Just shows how much the band loves the fans.

He didn't at all. I asked him if he got a pic or anything and he said no just because it was a chill convo and let him go about his business. But Carter caught his accent and noticed he was from New Orleans. Which lead Carter to mention that his two favorite cities are San Fran and NOLA.

I don't know if he was IN the hotel or just walking by. They were outside.

Carter and his wife and two kids, huh. I never thought about Carter being married. Never hear much about any of that. I knew Dave and Stefan were married. LeRoi I don't think was. What about Boyd? and Tim?

In that case I'll stand corrected. I've met Tim a few times and in 2005 he was talking about books his wife suggested to him. Just assumed that was an ongoing marriage.
