With the inspiration of Squirm, wouldn't you vote for Dave Matthews for president? Dave has stands and values that I admire. Equality and love lacks in our society and I for one would follow a man with his visual ideals. Anyone else agree or am I bias and overinvolved?

Being president would leave no time for touring. And besides dave's speaking skills are on par with 'ol W's, and while funny indeed, America does not need that kind of publicity for a few terms. I voted for DMB as best concert of the year though if that helps.

Obama has been horrible thus far. He gets about 8% approval from me for his first year.

Dave would be awful. Learn to enjoy someone's music and be able to separate the fantasies in it from the reality around us. Dave is still just a dirty hippie. Good for music, bad for politics.

Actually he just said the lyrics were inspired by watching the scary horrific films with no sound on. That is what I remember him saying anyways. They would put the movies on the wall of the studio with no sound on and the Squirm lyrics came from this.

How this relates to Dave being prez, I dunno.
